🚨 Man Utd make Christopher Vivell permanent director of recruitment. 38yo signs multi-year deal. (via@David_Ornstein)

🔵👀 Christopher Vivell was responsible for the commitments of during his time at Chelsea:🗯

🇦🇷 Enzo Fernandez - €121M
🇺🇦 Mykhailo Mudryk - €70+30M
🇫🇷 Benoit Badiashile - €38M
🇬🇧 Noni Madueke - €35M
🇫🇷 Malo Gusto - €30+5M
🇫🇷 Christopher Nkunku - €60M
🇵🇹 Joao Felix - €11m (Loan fee in January 23

💵 Total = €365M (Without a bonus)

I thought that Fernandez and Mudryk were signings wanted specifically by Boehly&Eghbali…

Do believe Gusto, Nkunku, Badiashile perhaps being more in line with Vivell but even then, it is widely reported we placed him on gardening leave due to Boehly/Eghbali/Clownlake giving the 2 clowns we have as co sporting directors more senior roles and responsibility? Not sure on the timeline but there was definitely some sort of clash of appointments with him, Joe Sheilds and the 2 numpties.

All in all, if he gets the recruitment there more in line with what he did at Leipzig, perhaps he will be more successful.

Chelsea have a long-standing interest in Aaron Ramsdale.

There is believed to be a relegation clause in his contract at Southampton.

🤢😪😪

Bargain basement shopping by the directors.

Just get the cheapest serviceable option to fix the defense.

Because defenders don't sell shirts. Fancy wingers do.

jfc, we are going to dump 50m plus quid or so on yet another Brighton player aren't we?

A GKer

https://tbrfootball.com/Chelsea-eyeing-16m-player-tipped-to-become-one-of-the-best-goalkeepers-in-the-world/

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has confirmed that one interesting name that has come up in Chelsea’s search for a goalkeeper is Bart Verbruggen.

The Brighton stopper fits everything that Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca wants – he is insistent that a new goalkeeper needs to play from the back.

Chelsea’s interest in Verbuggen goes back a few years – he was looked at very closely by the Blues in 2023 before he joined Brighton.

Chelsea’s head of goalkeeping Ben Robert is tasked with looking at the best options, and we understand Verbuggen is emerging as someone of interest.

He is enjoying a very good season and he is hugely competent with his footwork.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Denner Evangelista from Corinthians for €10M + €4M in bonuses.

He will arrive in London in June 2026 and will sign a seven-year contract.

Talks with Ian Subiabre's camp took place this week in London with the 18yo Argentine attacker expected to be available this summer for around £20m.

Subiabre can play as a winger or forward and impressed in the recent U20 South American Championship with 3 goals in eight games.

Chelsea still have Liam Delap and Sesko on their radar. They're optimistic Delap will choose to join if they proceed, while with Sesko they face competition from Arsenal.

Gyökeres has come back under fresh consideration and is likely to be available for €70m. @JacobsBen

It's becoming increasingly unlikely that Joao Felix will move to AC Milan permanently due to unconvincing performances as well as the finances involved in the operation.

Chelsea’s leadership group:

-Reece James

-Enzo Fernandez

-Moises Caicedo

-Levi Colwill

-Tosin Adarabioyo

-Marcus Bettinelli

I'm convinced that these fuck8ng directors are just in it to secure lucrative contracts for agents and players who they are familiar with.

That's why they keep going after their ex players and forcing us to continue with mediocre keepers.

Absolute shambles.

Levi Colwill part of the leadership group?

He's as petulant as they come.

  • Todd Boehly on fan criticism: "I think it is just par for the course. The reality is that the sooner you learn you can’t keep everyone happy all the time then freedom comes from that. You are just trying to execute a plan but recognise things aren’t linear. As long as you are trending in the right directions then you feel better. I think the trend is in the right direction and that’s the thing that matters. In June, it will be three years and it isn’t a lot of time as a 60-year-old, especially in an industry with so little downtime."

  • Todd Boehly on Chelsea’s power dynamics: “The British press exaggerates a lot and leaves things out. We’ve agreed on a strategy… and stuff’s getting done. I don't look in the rear-view mirror.”

  • Chelsea are not planning to change their management structure, happy with current directors and planning with them. No negotiations taking place with other directors. “I want to extend Luis Campos’ contract,” PSG’s Al Khelaifi said about Campos’ future despite Chelsea links.
