City have been super quiet so far so wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just secretly waiting until they see what sort of terms Palace will accept before jumping in late. Don’t think we’d have much chance if they tell him they want him. Thankfully, unlike transfer sagas we’ve been through before for high profile players, I’m not at all invested in the Olise ordeal. If we get him, great. If we don’t I won’t be that bothered so long as we use the money we would’ve used on him on another attacker of a similar quality. Olise is ideal for us. Works hard defensively, great set piece taker, decent at long shots and has some great vision to break down lower blocks. I'd be bummed if we missed him. robsblubot

If he chooses City it’s whatever. That’s the hole we’ve put ourselves in in recent years where we’ve allowed City to surpass us in the eyes of players moving clubs. If he chooses a United team that finished 8th and are a total mess on and off the pitch then even I as someone who isn’t desperate for Olise would be really annoyed. Only natural to wait and see your options. There was a report that said CIty are happy to go into next season with the same squad if there are no outgoings. bigbluewillie 1,930
Chelsea are interested in signing RB Leipzig's 24-year-old Belgium striker Lois Openda. (Teamtalk)
ulvhedin 526
I wonder how will Real manage to give Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo, Endrick, Arda, Brahim, Bellingham and Joselu game time. Propably sell Brahim and move Bellingham back to midfield position? Shame that Rodrygo loves Madrid so much (and would cost a lot of money + would like to eaern a lot of money) - he would be great option on the left. Strike 7,492
A buyback clause in Marc Guehi's deal would have been so useful right about now. He's looking like a good defender OneMoSalah
Special Juan 28,141
Orodrome and Duran? seriously what the actual fuck? Is this what it has become? I know the market isn't thriving with strikers so why the fuck don't we just play Nkunku or Jackson rather than buying these project fucking players bigbluewillie

And what about how he betrayed the club and his teammates? And the manager? And that he is the least professional person we've ever had in the squad? Or that he is constantly overweight and unfit? Or that it has been years since he was any good, even then only in a very direct style of football? This is the worst idea we've had in this thread in the last 1000 pages or so imo. OneMoSalah 8,886
Solanke? Really? Has scored double figures once in his career as a premier league player no thanks. Fucking embarrassing selection of targets by these co sporting arseholes. Just sack them already. Thor 2,717
Duran is a proper baller. He has a left foot shot that can break through parked buses.

Best case is Conte gives us another season lifeline or some Saudi club gives him a 2 year deal which is too good to turn down and we can finally wash our hands. 1 hour ago, Strike said: A buyback clause in Marc Guehi's deal would have been so useful right about now. He's looking like a good defender I knew when we sold Guehi a few seasons back that he would turn into a solid defender, he had that natural leadership trait as well (like a John Terry/Gary Cahill type). To think we had the likes of Tomori, Guehi, Livramento through the academy and none of them were really given consistent opportunities. 1 hour ago, milka said: Osimhen is old does not fit into Marescaball let's go to Duran , Solanke or another mid club . What a jokers . If we signed Osimhen for 100+ million, I think every other club in the PL would ask us to be investigated and we would probably be docked points for spending way way too much. That's why the club is looking for 'cheaper' options.

But Tomori and Guehi were avoidable sales, especially without buyback clauses. OneMoSalah and Reddish-Blue

Mário César 1,280
I understand and accept all your arguments about lakaka but he guarantees about 10-15 goals per season without penalties and nobody will offer us 38M pounds that board hopes to get such a shit transfer, jesus christ
Mhsc 1,098
The main argument against these no-names with minimal goal records imo is actually Broja, a player who I've argued is not good enough and probably never will be for Chelsea. I am no scout but I don't really see with any clarity that these targets are better than Broja. He also has amazing physical attributes. Duran to be fair looks like potentially an epic finisher on his left foot which might be an asset. But Fofana aint too bad at finishing is he, if that's all we want?
