so we need to sell mudryk, sterling or madueke

who you prefer?

Sterling is a complicated feeling thing that can only be answered internally (manager, coaches, and physios). Another season like this? no thank you.

Definitely keep Madueke and sell Mudryk, which I hardly think is possible. Sadly, I think the only sellable of the 3 is actually Noni (physical, tall, hard-working and on low wages). Sterling must be on super high wages.

I like the fact the club is looking at the wings tho. This whole thing is still a competition and our opponents have much better options there atm. And that's counting Nkunku who will need to remain fit for most of the season.

so we would have nkunku (sterling) to right wingers and olise, palmer and madueke to right wingers

the problem is what will do when estevao and paez arrive to the club

If fit, I think Nkunku can play in all 3 positions up front -- keyword being "fit". He does everything I complain Mudryk does not do, plus some.

Cole is hardly a winger and played as a CAM towards the second half of the season. His development is pointing to a semi-free role which would reflect his importance in the squad. Even when he starts from the wing, he's still more of an AM and plays more centralized.

Can't imagine Estevao or Paez making an impact immediately tbh.

Are you guys sure these Estevao and Paez kids will serious contendant for the first team next year? There are hardly any Youtube-videos of them, both have very-very little pro experience and not on high level. I would be surprised if any of them would straight bump into the starting eleven one year later.

Don't know if any of you played football manager 2003 but formation graphics when Real Madrid signed Beckham showed him and Figo together on the right side next to each other. Maybe we want to do something like that 🤔

Palmer will play AM in 4231. Estevao will be his backup for 2,3 years when he arrives in a year. Same with Paez for Olise. Madueke is clearly not starting material but will stay one more season to help Olise. Hutchinson will be sold this summer and Angelo has zero goals in Ligue 1 so will be on loans for years. Nkunku, Mudryk and Sterling for left side with Nkunku possibly playing in the middle when Palmer is taking rest. And Sterling could be sold. This is how I see things.

Agreed with everything except the bit about Nkunku in the middle; I think that even though he's got a A LOT more repertoire than Mudryk, he's still very much an attacker in my mind. I don't know if he can control tempo the way Palmer does -- w/o Enzo, Palmer is the only player int he squad capable of doing that IMO.

But if true I like club going for Olise. Shows how ambitious our owners are. They want to improve mediocrity asap.

olise is a fine player. I like him and just like palmer he has a lot of potential but he is a bit injury prone and I have doubst about selling madueke

we need a cf (oshimen I dont know if he worth the value that napoli is demanding), a defense center back and a goalkeeper at least

abour our midfielder, the fact is that we have lavia but I think we need a player with more creativity but maybe Im wrong

I like idea of front 3:

Nkunku Palmer Olise

Behind Lavia solo DM

And two number 8s in Caicedo and Enzo/Gallagher

Linked with the Olise interest is the rumor we will sell Maudeke. He was bought for £28M, with his amortization, anything over £21M is profit.

Probably means Madueke has reacted badly in the dressing room, don't see how they want to get rid of him so fast.

When they reported the players having a meltdown on their WhatsApp, Noni was said to be really going off. If it is Sterling or Madueke to make room for Olise, Noni is the easiest to move for profit. Sterling would be big money off the salary, but probably a harder move unless he is willing to take a massive wage cut.
