If Mbappe comes to Chelsea I don't readily see why he should then leave for Real Madrid.
We have played against Real Madrid four times in Europe in our lifetime.
We beat them twice, they beat us twice and 2022 was an unfair.
Also Madrid is not such a great city. My friend Stavros did n't like it.

We're building a strong French contingent.

If he came, we'd be the darlings of the EPL and everyone would want to be here in terms of big players. It would change the landscape very favourably for us.

Don't forget we are the club without a CL campaign next year.

Anything implying that Mbappe would play at the club without CL is just nothing but delusional.

And even with UCL, why would Mbappe want to come here? It's like he didn't get many super tempting offers, ridiculously massive wage, and very promising project from any other elite clubs in Europe

Usually with a player of this level I'd say there was less than zero percent chance but given Mbappe was (to one degree or another) a childhood Chelsea fan and friends with Drogba I'd say there is a very tiny glimmer here.

I still don't think it will happen though, and even if it does we're probably a buffer en route to Madrid.

no way mbappe accept to play for Chelsea

and even if he accept, no way we can pay 250M for one season.

if we buy him, mbappe needs to stay with us at least four or five years

who says that he would cost 250m

This Robert Sanchez thing still doesn’t make much sense to me. From our side or his, really. Deemed not good enough anymore for Brighton but is good enough to push Kepa? And why would he want to jump to our bench from theirs? Basically just hoping that Kepa fucks up and if he doesn’t and performs well, Sanchez will be sat on the bench for months.

At Brighton, he's pissed off the manager and he's behind Steele and Verbruggen in the order. At Chelsea, there is more than a fair chance of dislodging Kepa.
