Now that word is on the street money means nothing to them what goes around comes around. Which is why it’s probably better for him that he goes to Liverpool where he wouldn’t be expected to start every game and can be eased in by Klopp. That immense pressure to hit the ground running with top class performances week in and week out wouldn’t be there. Whereas if he came here he’d be thrown right into the fire and have a huge burden of being the primary defensive shield for a huge club. Asking that for a 19 year old is big. You do realise that Fabinho is close to a deal with the Saudi League as well....and they have just sold Henderson. I don't think they have another starting DM and Lavia would take that role. They have only left youngsters like Bajcetic, Elliott and Jones. This summer they lost Milner, Henderson, Keita, Ox, Arthur and now Fabinho close to move as well as Alcantara. They are in very similar situation as us in MF area. Klopp is using TAA in DM in pre season. Getting Caicedo will really give us the edge in that first game.
