No, it's reality.

Also, SB is one of the smallest pitches in the league, very narrow, little room for wide player like Mbappe to take on and roast defenders in acres of space.

We can put afrolex around so they don't bump.

It is outrageous if Mbappe ends at United.
If it is Real then it is also outrageous but Real have a century old tradition of buying cream players.
We are supposed to be the guys with the money.
Last year when the Turkish enterpreneurs were offering 10 billion we were laughing them off.

Every time Fabrizio gives a series of updates on a player he basically just repeats what he has already said twice before but with different sentence structure. 🤣 So don’t expect anything substantial from him.

I really don’t know how to feel about spending more than £80m on Caicedo. I think he’d be a great signing but that kind of money is crazy. This is the most important area of the pitch though and with Rice likely costing north of £100m perhaps it’ll look like we spent wisely in a few years.

Am I the only person that doesn't understand supporting two teams?

I don't get it.

Growing up in London our second team were always Brentford (Div4 in those days), and when Chels were away we used to go to Craven Cottage alternate Saturdays, not that we supported Fulham but they had George Best.

Is Caicedo an actual CDM? Or is he more of a number 8?

He plays in a double pivot for Brighton mainly, and usually as a number 8 for Ecuador. He's a CDM, but not a lone CDM like a Fabinho, Casemiro etc.

Box to Box. He's honestly more comparable to Essien than Kante imo.

Think the next midfielder we get will be a CDM.

So won’t caicedo and Enzo not stand on each others toes?

Of we really want to free up Enzo we need someone with sublime tactical ability, positioning, discipline who stays back and protects the defense. That is not caicedo. Can’t see him succeed here in our current set up

Definitely not a pure DM. He roams around everywhere like Kante and isn’t someone who sits at the base of the midfield like Rice.

So it is still definitely not wise for him to be our only midfield buy. Hope we’re still after Lavia.
