Doesn't mean I can't have an opinion about him.

No I don't play games like a kid. The fact that our entire team are dwarfs means we naturally suck at set pieces.

We were ranked 3rd in set pieces in 21-22 behind Man City and Liverpool

Ranked 5th in corners defended

Because we still had AC and rudiger. Replace them with Kounde and I bet suddenly we are a lot worse. It even says in your article that Rudi AC and Silva are the top contributers (it says donkeyaku as well but I don't want to pretend like he has redeeming qualities.

I don’t have pause about Kounde’s aerial abilities, he looks really good in duals. What gives me pause is his maturity. People are going to try every game to get him to react and commit stupid fouls because he has a history of doing it. If he is willing to learn from Silva, I think he will be a good addition. If he doesn’t, another costly mistake.

I see some of Rudiger in him - that aggressiveness and at times rashness to his play. It can be both a strength and a weakness in his game just like it was during Rudiger's career here, and will depend on his and Tuchel's ability to harness it and use it in the right situations.

I still think if we retain a back 3 it really complements his game playing on the side of someone like Silva. If we go to a back 4 I do worry a little about that side of his game being exploited but like you said, he has to mature still as a defender.

I think there's huge potential with him, and unlike some, I'm not too worried about bringing him in. I think Tuchel can coach weak points out of him because besides his height (although you're right, he's very strong in the air and has a great spring to his jump like Silva has had his career) I think he has the raw materials to be a top defender in Europe.

Signing a teenage keeper we won’t see for years? Will he sign a 7 year contract like Kepa? Otherwise, with a typical 3-5 year contract that most footballers sign he may never even appear in a Chelsea shirt. Because I doubt we’d keep a 17-18 year old kid as our 2nd choice keeper. That would be incredibly risky.

Not long ago. Club did integrate Courtois after signing him early and loaning him out

Chelsea star N’Golo Kanté withdrawn from France squad due to knee injury

https://astamfordbridgetoofar.com/2022/06/Chelsea-ngolo-kante-france-knee-injury-latest-update-return-date/

he needs to be sold

he is a walking med bay

Willing to wage it’s the same knee problem he had recently so it’s chronic.

So he now has chronic injuries in his hamstring, calf, and knee.

A decision needs to be made this summer.

Telling Lyon fans don’t rate Emerson

Him returning will be almost as depressing as Lukaku staying. He's an absolute nothing player.

If the board are refusing to invest in a new LB/LWB this summer then keep Marcos, give Maatsen the spot or even use Gallagher in a Zinchenko/Milner type inverted role, anyone but Emerson.
