Are we really going to loan Tammy when he has 2 year left on his deal?

Clubs can only loan one player maximum from another club, probably Gilmour loan and Tammy buy.

I wonder if the club judges the situation clearly 100 mil for an average 28 years with little to no resale value or pay 160-180 millions for Haaland who will hand us top notch performances, has marketability and resale value to recoup almost all the investment in a few years, really makes you wonder.

It will be interesting what we do, one of the reason I am skeptical we make big moves is because we have a big squad and many of our expensive signing recently are underperforming. Werner, Pulisic, Havertz, Ziyech. I think they will be hesitant to spend big, they will give these guys another year to prove themselves.

Haaland is not moving this summer and there'll be a mad rush to sign him next summer. Even  winning the Champions League does not make Chelsea any better prospects in this race

Assuming we offer twice as much as his 65 mil release clause next year do you really think Dortmund wouldn't start discussing it?

Dortmund will accept even 75m - that's not the issue next year - its all down to the player

I meant offering this year twice as much as his release clause.

Also wonder why we never looked into Depay would take him on a free over Lukaku any day of the week.

Ziyech is still a great player to have in our disposal. I can't really see any of our attackers having worse seasons than this first one.

Sancho would be ideal, but it appears Tuchel only wants a ST and improve his current attackers bar Tammy/Giroud.

I do think Ziyech offers a different skillset to the rest of our attackers which can be extremely useful at times. I think particularly against some of the teams that will look to sit in deep against us, his eye for a pass and willingness to take a shot around the edge of the area could still come in very handy next season. As a rotation option I've got no issues with him staying. He's hardly set the world alight but you have to believe like Werner and Havertz, there's more to come from him.

If he wants to leave or is a bargaining chip for a key target then fair enough, but I wouldn't look at him in the same way as Drinkwater or Bakayoko and think there's absolutely no chance of him being good enough to make a success of himself here.

prefer that they both go to Villa if they keep Grealish. Well, Tammy on a permanent transfer and Billy on loan.

Tammy will be sold unless he agrees to sign an extension and go on loan. At this moment in time we could probably get £35-£40m for him, as Watkins went for £35m last Summer and their are always teams desperate for CF's.

@R2D2 any thoughts on Lukaku winning Serie A's player of the year award? 😏

"With 24 goals and 11 assists, he is the first player to reach 20 goals and 10 assists in a single Serie A season since the data was collected (2004/05 season)."

"The ranking was drawn up taking into account the advanced analyzes of Stats Perform, made starting from the tracking data recorded by Netco Sports. The rating system, patented in 2010 with K-Sport and scientifically validated, considers not only statistical data and technical events, but also positional data. This allows to analyze crucial aspects such as movement without the ball and therefore optimal movements, game choices, contribution to the technical and physical efficiency of the team, which allow an objective and qualitative evaluation of performance. For the final calculation, all the matches played in Serie A TIM, TIMVISION Cup and PS5 Supercup were considered.

The Best Overall Award of the 2020/2021 season went to Inter player Romelu Lukaku."

Seria A enough said, about as relevant as Immobile winning Seria A best forward last season, banter league.

Think last season Dybala won it and the fanbase can't wait to get rid of him, same can be said about Lukaku on the Inter forum actually, most saying if they are to sell someone it should be him, goes to show how much they value him when they don't even want to hear of selling Lautaro, Hakimi, Bastoni or Barella before Lukaku gets sold first, who is apparently the most valuable asset.

I would rather the geezer from Inter Milan or Kounde in all honesty..

Kounde is a real top prospect, I think he could be one of the best i nthe World and he plays DM extremely well too.

Koundé is a dwarf. Hard pass. So overrated. So overpriced. We would get crucified on crosses, free kicks, corners.

So let’s say we get the below, fantasy, how would you spend it?

- Tomori 25m

- Bakayoko 15m

- Abraham 40m

- Barkley 25m

- Emerson 5m

- Zappacosta 5m

- RLC 20m

Total: 135m plus 100m from club pot.

Work on the basis that all clubs and all players would say yes, stay reasonable with fees.
