How is Real going to pay for Mbappe? This summer he is coming to the last year of contract. Looks like he does not want to renew and PSG would not let him go for free.

Banks and the Spanish government have helped Barca and RM plenty before, they will save them now also. Well PSG cant do shit if he doesnt want to renew.

Ornstein said Haaland isn't going to join City this summer because they want to avoid the bidding war. Apparently Kounde is on our transfer shortlist this summer.

If City want to avoid a bidding war, am sure the rest will likely follow suit too, especially with the price, including the agent fees for Raiola and Haaland's dad being so high anyway.

I know Vesper doesn't rate Kounde but I was highly impressed from the few occasions I've seen him. I know there were some skeptical about his height but he has a great vertical apparently which has led to him having pretty good stats in areal duels.

Johnson mentioned we're going hard for Haaland this summer because this is the best chance to sign him.

Theoretically, I'd agree but then you could say the same for almost every club interested in him. The price would be lower next year but you would imagine every and more big clubs would then try to convince him. So either clubs go into a potential bidding war this summer or a convincing war next summer.

The club wanting Haaland is one thing but whether he wants to join us is another. Plus, if we don't finish in the Top 4, we can forget about getting him.

And I just remember Guardiola hinted at potentially signing Haaland yesterday. Despite what Ornstein or anyone else may say, I still wouldn't rule out City making a move on him really. This is the same club after all that were prepared to throw money at signing Messi last summer.

Even if we finish in the top 4, there is no guarantee Haaland want to come here lol.

Wasn't a 180 million player performance today

TBF, not his fault he has that price tag put over him and he's still only 20 years old, despite the hoo-ha around him.
