It is a weird one alright we were threatening legal action if it wasn't overturned and now nothing. It's like getting done for drunk driving you're counting down the days till the bans lifted and when it is you don't bother driving anymore.

Yeah they can say it's a point of principle I suppose. I blame UJ - where the fuck is he ?

He is a very good option, but imagine calling Everton and say I want your starting striker in January. Sure, 150 million.

I think in the summer, we will have more option. It does not take a genius what is our need. A dm, a backup striker, a lb and one top level winger. Hopefully we don't try to solve them all at once.

Tottenham don't see the value in paying the desired £30 million for Krzysztof Piatek, resulting in his agent offering him to Chelsea. The Blues may be more amenable to a six-month loan with an option to buy, but Milan are insistent on a full sale.

I can see us doing this.

Piatek is interesting. Before he moved to Milan and after the start he had once he moved there we'd have killed for him. But now he seems like he'd be a boom or bust striker if he joined us. Could he return to his best or will he be another Michy level player who we'd struggle to move on?

Think his spell at Milan has shown he isnt that good. He did very well in Poland and at Genoa but moved too soon after a promising start. Started decently for Milan but their desire to resign a 38 year old on a big salary, regardless of how good he is, speaks volumes about what they think of Piatek imo. Spurs taking a hard pass at 30m is also more evidence he isnt that good. As a second option, maybe, he is a decent choice but strikes me as someone who needs to be playing regularly to deliver and I dont see him as an outstanding choice or that big an upgrade on Tammy. Suppose maybe 6 month loan with option to buy is as good as we will get him for or any CF just now though. We do need another CF though.

Olmo rejected Bayern and Milan

New RB Leipzig signing Dani Olmo rejected offers from Bayern Munich and AC Milan, claim Sportske Novosti.

They claim Bayern made four last-ditch offers to sign the Spanish international from Dinamo Zagreb, but he didn't feel either club was right for his development.

Olmo, 21, had also been heavily linked with a return to former club Barcelona.
