Eghbali: Chelsea were ‘not terribly well managed on the football side, sporting side or promotional side’

Trophy cabinet looks full to me.

Really ? Fucks sake, they are worse than i thought

I wish some of these journalists confronted the owners with hard questions, instead of asking the same run-of-the-mill nonsense

No wonder why United fans were the first to say that American owners would definitely stuff up our club.....and that's exactly what has happened.   At least they have Ratcliffe (who is a fan of the club) making some decisions now...

Feel like Roman should have accepted that offer from Saudi/Qatar rather than Boehly's boys.  At least we'd be competitive on most days like Newcastle, not have to watch these youngsters effectively play U-23 football in the senior side.

In 2018, it was rumored that Abramovich rejected an offer  right from Clearlake   because he didn't want to sell to Americans  but was forced apparently after what happened in Ukraine from UK government .  One of the other contenders was Martin Broughton, in 2022 he had said that he would never fire Tuchel and would gradually make the transition from the former management, not like these cowboys who have no idea about football.

Tbf, if they had put most of that money to good use, most fans wouldn't complain.

But no. The fans are left with the embarrassment and not much else.

There's actually rumours going around about Eghbali being happy to bring in Alonso immediately. In what world is this a possibility?

I saw this as well but no one credible saying it yet. Think we can convince him with a very good salary.

Two factors make it appear extremely unlikely:

1) Leverusken will not get rid of the main reason they are on track to win their first Bundesliga title.

2) If Liverpool has already approached him (which is highly likely), I don't see him turning them down given his past.

Get Mourinho  he will  build foundation and implement his mentality to these players  get one proven  sporting director like  Mike Edwards or someone else on that rank let them to collaborate and work together  stay in your office in  Los Angeles  and don't pretend to know football,  this is our save .

Good god no.

His time in Series A was tainted with one toxic attack after another. The video of him chasing the referee round the car park after losing the European final just sums him up.

One of his final bust up with his players is also telling and should put the final nail into the "bring him back to the Bridge" coffin, after Roma had just lost 2-1 to ten men Milan, the Roma senior players were reported to have had "raised their voices" when calling on Mourinho to provide better tactical instructions to his struggling team.

Does this all ring any bells?
