Fulham Broadway 17,333
Fuck him.Racist.I remember BB you doubted him initially - back in 2006 -fuck me was that 5 years ago?? -then you had to grudgingly admit to me and Esk that he was a top signing. Remember ?Edit ; thought it was Badboy posting -cant see user name

LDN Blue 7,903
We really are a pathetic club if we are going to give some great epic standing ovation to someone who was nothing more then a giant paperweight on the pitch most of the time and only seemed useful for marketing ploys for adidas. Great player when he was in Gemrany but was one of the most overhyped and underwhelming performers in a Chelsea shirt. It wouldn't be so bad if everyone didn't see him as some sort of club legend.I agree calling him a legend is a over the top.But you can't deny his class in a Chelsea shirt? He may not have been how he was in Germany but was certainly important.

BlueLion. 21,491
I hope he gets a wonderful ovation, I'm sure he will. Chants of "one Michael Ballack" would be a nice touch too.
Badboy 1,526
I don't think i bashed a player more then Ballack, i hope he gets a good Ovation though because the static German tank did try.

Spike 12,049
Ballack showed more loyalty and passion to this club than that one Englishman who claimed to be a season ticket holder as a lad. Blue Armour 4,448
Anybody else thought of Ballack and wished he was still part of the squad to lift that CL trophy? I did. Felt a bit for Joe Cole as well. Others like Carvalho, Anelka and Deco have at least once lifted that trophy during their careers, but not these two. Still, you have to remember that there are other extremely good players that have never won it in their careers. Joker10

They were deserving of being champion of Europe, but luck wasn't on their side.Ballack was so unlucky, he comes in 2nd so many times in major competitions. You would think he is cursed. But no doubt he is the most complete midfielder of his generation. If he had won some of those competitions i have no doubt he would be as highly regarded as Lothar Matthaus.I did. Felt a bit for Joe Cole as well. Others like Carvalho, Anelka and Deco have at least once lifted that trophy during their careers, but not these two.
