Our biggest problem is actually the players behind the striker, Pulisic, Mount, Ziyech, Havertz have been shit.  I honestly prefer the days we gave the ball to Hazard to do something, at least we seemed to score goals. In fact I would bring Eden home if we are given the chance to sign him

Ironically, Tammy in last seasons form probably would’ve been enough.

He scored 15 goals last season and we still just scraped into the Top 4.

And 9 of his goals came in the first 6 games if I am not mistaken

7 of his 15 goals last came in the first 5 league games. After that, it's 8 in 29 outings.

But they still went in right? Another 15 goals for us would of helped this season. Be it from Tammy, from Kovacic, from CHO, whoever. Those extra sort of goals would of been appreciated considering out striker went on two barren tuns stretching probably close to 30-35 games in all comps.

Yes, but it feels like this season we’re much better in the buildup and approach play. We often create chances that anyone with composure should be burying. Feels like Timo choked on two dozen 1v1’s with keepers this season. Mount and CP missing the target despite having 80% of the goal to aim at over and over again like they each did today.

For fucks sake, we’re just 1 or 2 players away. Tuchel should drop to his knees and BEG Roman for a striker.

I dont think the striker is the main problem at the moment, not having goal scoring wingers is absolutely killing us. In 2010 we had Malouda, Anelka, Joe Cole, Kalou. In 2015 Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard. In 2017 we had Pedro, Willian, Hazard all helping with the goal scoring.

Crazy the numbers Tottenham attackers pulled this season and finished 7th

Kane: 23 goals 14 assists
Son: 17 goals 10 assists
Bale: 11 goals 2 assists

Meanwhile us not sure we have a single player with double digits.

Taking away Jorgi's 7 pens.

A "shot"  Bale, who hasn't even been a regular starter, has scored one goal less than our top two forwards tally added together.

A truly shocking and embarrassing state of affairs which one might have expected have belonged to Sheff Utd.

It's debatable whether our buildup and approach play would have been the same with Abraham since Tuchel doesn't rate him at all. It's just like how if we throw Giroud on, our attacking play just becomes totally different and possibly worse.

Sadly, the Hazard we had is long gone now.

Also, credit where its due for Liverpool - last 10 games - 26 points. They really went for it.

Think they’ll be back to their best next season, sadly. They can finally get healthy and will freshen up their squad with some new players.

We have to be extremely good in the market because both Liverpool and United will be getting stronger.

With their defenders back next season, I fully expect them to be hitting 90 points again.

I fear we'll be in another battle for 4th next season, with Spurs running us close.

Don't see Leicester or West Ham doing as well next season.

Apart from Kante, name one great signing over the last 4 years.

I have no faith in those in charge of our transfers. One bad or average signing after another.

Definitely! Even with the injuries they finished 3rd despite being written off...turned it around. Won 8 in their last 10 games..just got forgotten about it seems then bam there they were.

Dont think they'll be far behind as have been this season at all.

I would honestly take a chance, if we get even half the Hazard we had he is better than what we currently have at the moment

And Drogba might still be able to do better than this lot too.

BTW.

Just heard Banford being talked about. I certainly wouldn't mind us making a bid for him.

West Ham I agree, but Leicester? Stop writing these lot off FFS. They gave us serious trouble in the last 2 seasons and they are not going to just "drop off" next season.

Mendy. Silva (although it was a free transfer).

Mendy for sure, but I was thinking about outfield players.

I'm writing Leicester off because it looks like Vardy is on the wane.

They are extremely smart in their recruitment, but he's going to be incredibly difficult to replace.

Jesus. He will be thrown to the wolfs first time he misses/plays bad. Decent player for Leeds, not good enough for us.
