If you perform like this, what else you gonna say? If you can hit such an ultimate low, than youre just a terrible team

We're not a "terrible team" just a bang average one and have been ever since Conte's second season. Been fortunate that the likes of Utd and Arsenal have been equally piss poor for most of that time.

10 men yes, but the way we just threw away the game was pathetic. I have never seen a 'big team' crumble like that after going down to 10. Embarrassing. Especially against a team/manager who are known for being more stubborn. Bayern for instance couple weeks ago went down to 10 men against Stuttgart at 0-0 and still won 4-0. Arsenal went down to 10 against Leeds earlier this season and still held for the point. We did not plan at all on dealing with 10 against 11. Kovacic is the only player to come out of this with any credit. He played really well despite being down to 10. Huge wake up call now.

Think Mount did well too.

Sure, assisting two WBA goals is worse than usual, but what does Mr Backpass ever bring to the table that puts him ahead of other midfield options.

Anyone scouting Chelsea could miss how poorly and risking we played out of the back today.

That's it. Even with 10 we shouldn't be losing 5-2..not to West Brom and no disrespect to them bit no. Shouldn't Shouldn't happening especially the way it did. Made it so easy for them!

For sure it made a big difference but half the lineup had 2 week last training with TT so surely no excuse

Not really. When you don't have a full contingent of players (not to mention the players that will play the game together) it's difficult to build that rhythm and work tactically in training.

Due to Covid I'm pretty sure there are restrictions also to bringing players into training from the academy (not to mention they have games and players away on international too). Looking at the training on the Chelsea app last 2 weeks there's been about 10 players max training.

The goals before half time were what killed the game. Tuchel needed to get the side back in at half time and re-group them.

In the second half, it wasn't pretty but we were always going to be left susceptible to being countered when chasing the game with 10 men. The chances we had weren't taken, whereas there's were extremely clinically.

Absolutely. He is useless. SFL knew this. We knew this. TT didn't but hopefully does now 👍

We could end up 6th by the end of this weekend.

Cheers lads. Thank you yet again for a great start to the weekend.

Spuds will surely go above us on GD (versus shambolic Newcastle)

and I am all in rooting for Wolves v West ham

I don’t see how that’s good.

They will look at today and know that a smart, pacey player against Alonso will be key to beating us.

And our forward line is SHITE.

Getting too confident is not a good way. They have been very arrogant since the draw and now you claim they will be happy watching this game against WBA.

It feels like the warning signs were already there in the last game against Sheffield United and things just blew up completely today. We were already pretty rubbish even before the red card happened.
