Atleast the germans know how to give a good presser, they have frigging beer bottles standing there instead of the stupid old energy drinks no one ever likes.

Either this, or 4-3-3 with Kante at the base of midfield and Mount-Havertz ahead of him. Depending on the opposition and players' fitness leves of course.

Could be a really solid team if everything clicks together. Rotation options Giroud, Tammy, CHO, RLC, Kovacic/Mount, Gilmour would also allow for so many different variations and tactical setups. Franks seems like a manager who likes to rotate players (similar to Guardiola in that regard) so I think most of the 'rotation' group would still see a lot of action.

I think we are trying to sort our attacking first like Liverpool and City did before sorting their defense.
That means next season nowhere near tittle challenge but differently improve to this season.
It would be in the third season of Lampard where we should really challenge for tittle.
The 3 year plan

Reads to me like the club are waiting to see whether or not we qualify for the CL to determine how we'll structure the payments to Bayer. If we qualify, probably more money up front. If we don't, installments spread out over multiple windows.

The consensus amongst pretty reliable sources seems to be that everything is agreed and sorted regarding personal terms with Havertz himself. All a matter of finding an agreement between clubs now as we've know for a couple of days.

We win...

We should put Wolves away not underrating them and I know on paper its gonna be a difficult game... but cmon CL on the line...

So how are we lining up next year if we get havertz over the line which looks likely. Forget the disaster that is the backline and speculating on possible recruitments there. How do we line up from midfield forward?

It's going to be fluid, there won't be a first Xl next season as the schedule will demand a lot of rotation to remain fresh.

Kai Havertz has agreed a €9m per season contract until 2025 to join Chelsea! The Blues are looking to agree the €80M fee with Bayer. Chelsea the only club in for him. -

If Ziyech and Werner weren't a statement then we are about to get one with Havertz.

This is the biggest possible statement we could make and the window hasn't even opened yet. A generational talent with balance, flair, ability, scoring attributes and he's coming here.

This is huge.

Watch this ! This guy is a United fan, I watch his videos because he is very level headed and gives a good unbiased review of the going ons in the League. I know there are always people trying to be the inside scoop with bullshit sources but this one seems quite legit. He goes on to say how close we are to becoming top dogs in the PL again too.

This will be interesting. A month and a half ago I posted that I couldn't understand why some lists of this kind did not include Puli as a starter. Don't think any will exclude him now.
