On paper looks nice but thats not a powerful midfield for me.

If we get him we can play all sorts of formations very well, especially with the new players already done. 4231 would do wonders.

Kova and Jorgo/Kante sitting

Puli Kai and Ziyesh infront of them and then Turbo as striker

Flip Havertz and Ziyech if it is 4-3-3. Kai is wasted back in midfield. He is not a box to box midfielder, he is a pure OM/Forward

If he comes I think we will switch to 4-2-3-1

Google translation: Should be more or less accurate

Sky Info: Havertz-Poker decided!Β YoungsterΒ agree with Chelsea

Poker for super talent Kai Havertz has ended after Sky information.Β The youngster from Bayer Leverkusen agrees with Chelsea.Β All other interested parties such as Manchester United are out of the race.

"We can delete all other clubs. According to our information, Havertz has fullyΒ agreedΒ withΒ Chelsea FCΒ . All 'personal terms' such as salary, contract details, etc. have been checked and clarified," saidΒ SkyΒ Transfer expert Marc Behrenbeck inΒ Transfer Update - the showΒ .

Havertz transfer: 80 million euros + bonuses

The general conditions of the deal between the clubs are also known.Β "Chelsea is going all in with the deal. It's about a transfer fee of 80 million euros to which there are still possible bonuses."

In the coming week after the end of the season in the Premier League, Peter Cech, who acts as technical advisor for the Blues, will travel to Germany and hold talks with those responsible atΒ Bayer LeverkusenΒ .Β In addition to the exact transfer modalities, it will also be about the time of the transfer.

Havertz still in the Europa League for Leverkusen?

"It should be clarified whether Havertz will still play in the Europa League for Leverkusen," says Behrenbeck.Β Leverkusen has repeatedly emphasized in the past that Havertz will still count on the services in the competition and that a departure - if at all only after the Europa League - will come about.

"Chelsea is ready to negotiate on this point", which is very conducive to the successful completion of the transfer.Β "We can definitely say that the deal has come a lot closer."

That really doesn't make sense at all.

We would risk him getting injured and/or he may take even longer to get settled in and adapt to Lampard's style the longer Leverkusen stay in the competition.Β Should just do a Werner.Β

Indeed. Although it could have been used as some kind of a leverage - Bayer ready to decrease the asking price as long as the player is allowed to finish the EL campaign and try to secure the CL football this way. Could be. I would rather get him asap, though, for more money.

I think they may have insisted on it but given us a bit off the original price to keep him to then. I dont know. Its hard to say until he’s officially announced. I mean its the same with Arthur at Barca hes signed for Juventus but will continue to the CL is done. Its not that big a deal IMO.

Exactly. Touch wood, fingers crossed...nobody wants a situation like when Sane got a serious injury last year out of the blue and his move to Bayern was scuppered.Β

Not comparable to Werner IMO. For Werner the wait time between Bundesliga season and CL was two months but for Havertz it's only likeΒ two more weeks. Also worth noting that forΒ Havertz there is no release clause so Leverkusen are in much a better position to negotiate than Leipzig were with Werner.Β

Kai is also a Leverkusen youth product so he might feel more obligated to play and get a good send-off.

Even if it takes another few weeks I'd still say hats off to Marina for making business early for once. She's already landed Werner, Ziyech and now Havertz looks to be in the bag while none of our rivals have done anything in the market yet.Β
