The Skipper 20,609
Nope.CostaLukakuDD The most ideal situation would be selling Torres and bringing DD back to mentor Lukaku, so we have a strike force of Costa, Lukaku and Drogba. Not going to happen though.Torres is not going to be sold.
xPetrCechx 13,570
Torres is not going to be sold. Earlier Today, I thought about Costa-Lukaku-DD Strike Force too... Reddish-Blue, The Rising Sun and The Skipper

Popular Post! Liquidator 5,176 Posted July 18, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted July 18, 2014 No thanks. 2011/12 he was absolutely terrible apart from in European games. 2 years later he could be even worse. Have him back as a coach but I don't see what he'd add to the table other than experience as a player. Reddish-Blue 2,504
As a coach, Drogba would be a great addition..but as a player, we don't need himHis last moment should be that penalty kick! boshman and MIDOKA
petre.ispirescu 4,928
Only to mentor Lukaku. And as a coach. Nothing more. The Skipper, xPetrCechx, bluesman2610 and 1 other
RoyalBlues 4,050
As much I wouldn't like to see Drogba playing again in Chelsea shirt, because he has leave in perfect way. I badly want to see him take a part against Arsenal next season, bring the real nightmare back for gooners Heisenberg

Popular Post! The only place to be 11,313 Posted July 19, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted July 19, 2014 Drogba as a target man is still actually a decent player. If we're chasing a game and Costa isn't working then bringing on Lukaku, who is a very similar player who is surprisingly poor in the air, isn't going to change the way we attack the game especially. It's why I liked the idea of us getting Mandzukic because tactically, he actually alters what we do.If we're playing that match against West Ham at home last season who do you want to bring on? Lukaku or Drogba? Who do you want to pump crosses into because there's no space behind their defences to run into (Lukaku's main strength)? Who do you want a ball to fall to be it on the right, left or even a headed chance? As for the mentoring of Lukaku/right-click-TUTOR idea, we have about 60 players at this club, as well as world-class coaches, PR men etc. Why does it have to be Drogba who tells Lukaku to keep his mouth shut, don't ask for transfers away from massive clubs and focus on playing football? Popular Post! BlueLion. 21,491 Posted July 19, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted July 19, 2014 After we sold Ba we need a Plan B. Costa will be great for us - the issue is Lukaku is ineffective at times (he's still very raw) and Torres is as useful as a split condom. We need someone to pump balls up to, and Didi can still do a job. After losing Ash and Frank we need more "generals" in this team. Okay, we're getting Costa who is a ratty little shit and will really wind up the opposition, and Cesc is ridiculously experienced at every possible level, but we need real leaders and with Cech also likely on his way out, it's going to leave us with just JT and Ivanovic as the generals in that team. gary gordon 1,777
Don't forget, both David Luiz and Juan Mata both credited Drogba for teaching them his free kick technique. He would be an amazing coach. Nobody found space like Didier. That is Torres's problem, he couldn't get his positioning right if you marked it with a big red X. He'll only run into the right position, waving his arms about like a fucking spastic once the ball has already been shot. sdrcfc
