Bad news every fuckin' day, damn it!
Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
I am 100% sure Drogba's heart is in the right place, but this isn't surprising at all. These big charities almost always become so big that they start having to spend all of their money on their events and brand recognition. manpe 10,861
I knew that those celebrity charities are a publicity hoax, but less than 1%? That's worse than I expected. And Didier out of all people? Disappointed. EDIT: "The UK charity — which is registered to the office of a PR company — has held four fundraising balls in top central London hotels for its multi-millionaire donors." There you go. Muzchap 8,966
I hope Didier has the proof to nail them to the wall. I hope he does deals with all of the other papers to turn on them and jettison them into the shite rag they are. Pif the allegations are unfounded - I hope sponsors boycott them for being so irresponsible and donate the money to Didiers charity instead. Blue Armour 4,448
Quote Drogba denies any wrongdoing and says the “lies” surrounding his Foundation will put the health and welfare of children in danger. Drogba said: “It’s the biggest challenge of my life, one of the hardest days of my life but it’s a fight I will win. That's enough for me. Popular Post! Leif 6,006 Posted July 24, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted July 24, 2016 I wish I realised how great he was before he left. I only know now he's my favourite striker of all time. He has it all. No other striker has had it 'all' like Drogba. He can do everything from playing as centre back, to touching the ball soft like Zola, to hammering in screamers from 40 yards & to launching bullet-headers that go through the net. Nobody else. manpe, DYC., Peace. and 4 others

Popular Post! Leif 6,006 Posted July 24, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted July 24, 2016 This is an emotional gush-fest, i just watched his header vs. Munich again. Better ability in the air, higher work rate, more strength, more accurate & powerful long-shots & better leadership qualities than all the following players who truly seem to be deemed better than him - Henry, C. Ronaldo, M. van Basten, Eto'o, Suarez, Batistuta, Inzaghi, Bergkamp, Ibrahimovic, Shearer, Del Piero, Baggio, Messi, Maradona, Pele, Romario, Raul, Cantona. None of them exceeded beyond Drogba's talents in any of those categories. Imagine any of those players being your captain too. The team wouldn't fulfill its potential, because they're weak in the lungs, brain and heart by comparison. Most of the players I mentioned had better finishing qualities & 'technique', I'll concede that, but they did not score more crucial goals, or assist big moments. Not at all. None of those players pushed their starting 11 to be a starting 22 like Drogba did. The only other thing they have on him is more rabonas. Oh, then consider the fact that beside Eto'o up there, the national teams these guys were playing with & improving with were France, Portugal, Holland, Uruguay, Argentina, Italy, Sweden, England, Spain, Brazil. The drop of quality when you turn up to the Ivory Coast training centers would be so evident. It makes him even greater. manpe, Peace., Hybrid Angel and 2 others
