Callum Hudson-Odoi

At the age of just 17 he is completely fearless and confident in taking on his defender. Got the ball and attacked the fastest defender in the PL over and over again and destroyed him numerous times. Bellerin couldn't live with him.

If Eden stays, CHO should be our definite starter in all earlier round cup games and should be one of the first options to come on as an impact sub. Hazard should be able to get plenty of rotation this season.

What a reception he got when he came off. The crowd appreciated the performance he put in and even the Arsenal fans stood up and gave him a round of applause. They were clearly impressed by him too. That was a really nice touch. For Sunday, he should start and boy City have both their 2 recognised RB unavailable, so god I feel sorry for whoever is coming up against CHO.

The lad has been on fire so far this pre season He took the piss out of Bellend tonight. I'm not 100% sure he could be a striker but I'm more confident in him than any we have right now!

Give the lad a shot.

And we got him for the season!!!!

Chelsea will not loan out Hudson-Odoi, confirms Sarri

“He will stay with us for the season”

Watching him, you know he is something special. Let him play. You find a spot for a talent like this.

Seriously... The kid is the new wave. Direct, athletic, quick, strong, agile, tactically aware, and brilliant technically.

Sure it is preseason, but the season isn't too far off, and he has been the best player a few times in these games. That isn't by accident. That is a player taking the next step and showing his worth.

Get Martial in, and run a trio of Hazard, Martial and Odoi. They can mix and match up top and swap positions the whole game. Would be immense.

Totally agree with all you say bud Eden and Willian were at their best when they were given the freedom to roam around where needed. It confused the defenders allot.

Has Oddy ever played on the right do we know?

Would Hazard in front of Jorg and Kante not work? Just behind Morata?

Would be light weight in the middle, but would be so evasive and incredible moving the ball.

This is what it means to have prodigious talent in the youth ranks. And I'm sorry Hudson-Odoi is head and shoulders above any youth player we have ever produced. He has superstar in the making status and yes, I'm gonna say it... He on that Mbappe trajectory. He's the only one our club have produced at this level...

Could just play Eden on the RW. Wouldn'y be the st time. Leave Oddy where he is

I want to believe this sooo much. But my head makes me think "You´re jumping the gun way too early there"

I don't think so. If he was given a run in this team like Mbappe got at Monaco? Nasty... He has everything, speed, technique, intelligence, balance... He's got room to grow but he's on that same trajectory. Superstardom

Giving him a run like Mbappe's is going to be the problem. Don't take my opinion too seriously though, as I haven't seen as much of CHO as I would have liked.

But I definitely agree with the idea that we might have a star in our hands. How much I've longed to see an academy player break through and properly get a spot on the first team:wub:
