France boss Didier Deschamps has spoken out about N'Golo Kante's inclusion in his latest squad amid a recent row with Chelsea

France boss Didier Deschamps has suggested that Frank Lampard and Chelsea can have no complaints about N'Golo Kante being included in his latest squad.

The Chelsea midfielder, who has been restricted to just six appearances so far this season due to injury, has been named in France's latest squad for the upcoming internationals with Moldova and Albania.

Kante returned injured from international duty last month, after suffering a groin injury during the warm-up prior to France's game against Iceland.

Lopes is playing for Portugal and Lemina for Gabon. What do you mean Sane can flip to France? After one official match you can't change NT.

I did not include Dembele as he was in my top 2 RWers so not eligible for the criteria

and yes, I should have specified that Sane could have went for France, but he has played a few competitive matches, even though he did not make the 2018 WC squad (which seriously fucked up Germany, lolol)

Just replace Lopes with Alban Lafont on the final 25 man squad (or even Lacomte)

Lemina did not make that cut, so no loss

I recommend my attitude to international breaks. I don't buy tickets to internationals, I don't watch them on TV, I don't follow them in any way. If everyone did that for a season, we'd be rid of these blasted breaks, instead of just going along with them the way fifa expect us to.

Ditch the breaks, use the time saved to shorten the club season so it starts later, and finishes earlier. That makes room in the calendar for an international season.
