Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is not interested in leaving to join Lille, according to the London Evening Standard.

Michy was used because he was the only option available upfront. 

The kid has talent but he's not ready to lead the line for a title-challenging side. Even Henry mentioned this when talking to Skysports from a Belgian training camp, he said Rom and Christian accept the challenge, they want the attention whether it's good or bad, but the other two youngsters (Divock and Michy) are still learning their trade, they need to mature.  He went on to say that Michy can pull off some of the most outrageous first touch finishes you'll ever see in training but he needs to understand how to adjust himself for those 40/60 chances in-game, if he wants to take the next step in his development.

I am not saying he is ready to lead the line every game. I am saying he is good enough to be part of our squad and he will score goals if he is given minutes. The season is early and while he has flaws he has a lot of ability too. Very powerful, brilliant technique and good on either foot. He is a good player but just needs time. Selling him now would be ridiculously stupid.  Last season he was barely given any opportunities until towards end of season. The season has just started and he has shown glimpses in pre-season and towards end of last season of what he was capable of. There is a big season ahead and players will improve. I am sure Bats will too.

The Ligue 1 side have been linked with a move for Batshuayi, but it is reported he wants to "stay and fight for his place"

I don't know if he's greedy or brain dead (possibly both) but he simply cannot be trusted. We need another back up striker because if Morata gets an injury we're stuck.

I thought he was quite good last night. 

Yes, as a sub who probably senses a lot of his minutes are being lost, he wanted to make an impact. He made the right pass earlier to Willian at one point, who had a bad first touch and didn't play the ball back to him immediately, so he gave it a shot doing it on his own the next time. No harm in that. 

When he replaced Morata, we were still very good and we actually created a few chances with him helping in the build up.

Morata and Batshuayi are the only Strikers we got until January. 

Batshuayi really needs to make use of the limited chances he'll receive and earn Conte's trust. Don't want Morata being forced to play through injuries/fatigue because Conte doesn't want to play Batshuayi.

Just read CFC want to sue him even more for still not reporting back to training... doubt that situation gets resolved anytime soon.

Why? His Instagram/Social Media presence has no effect on his game. He's training just as hard as before, and I think he knows better than anyone else how poorly he's started the season.
