I think he'd do well in any league but not England, just too much competition here taken over by contemporary attacking managers. Italy or France. He won't win anything in Spain or Germany unless he's managing Real/Barca/Atletico (not gonna happen) or Bayern Munich (also not gonna happen). Think it's either Milan clubs or Portugal NT for him next. Johnnyeye

Think it's either Milan clubs or Portugal NT for him next. I have my doubts about the Milan clubs going after Mourinho. Sure, they may not have won anything in ages but they seem to have a proper long term plan in place to achieving success again. We all know Mourinho is about the short term and honestly, has he genuinely improved any team in the last 8 years? He has won trophies for sure but he got them to perform really well for one season before everything went south and I don't even think United have improved under him at all. I also don't think the Milan clubs would want to deal with his drama. It's happened far too often these days. And from Mourinho's perspective, would he want to go there? Inter and Milan do not exactly have deep pockets to spend like Man City or PSG and their squads aren't A-grade either. He'll just end up complaining about the squad, like he is doing now with United. He might have to do a Benitez or Ancelotti and take a step down in terms of club stature in his next job.

RoyalBlues 4,050
He double lost it. On the pitch and the press conference. To be honest, I am behind him when he is at Inter and Real. But yes, I lose most of my respect for him since the day he sign for that Manc club. So, have to say sorry but I am enjoying this moment now. I still would like to see Baba get a swing at Sarriball, he seems to be in that mould. Plus he is used to wearing blue. It's just that now Mou's meltdown might get stronger without a shoulder to cry on. He was his goto guy that kept his ego charged. He obviously finds it difficult to make friends at clubs but the ones he does make love him. I doesn't seem hes made many of them at Manure unlike the old guard here who all seem to have his back. I cant believe how much my feelings have changed towards him. I started off loving the guy for what he had done with us and the seemingly love he had for us. But over the 2 visits it got to where his face made me cringe. I dont understand why a bloke as clever as he is cant change his approach to the game. It surely has nothing to do with ego. Whether we think it or not Manure aren't full of shite players. They should be able to put together a winning team.
Iggy Doonican 4,186
Brian Clough was never the same manager without Peter Taylor a good assistant is vital in football management. Taylor reined in Clough when he was making stupid decisions or going over the top. Obviously no one can rein in Mourinho's mouth and the shit that comes out of it but if you've worked side by side with someone for 15 years or whatever it is your going to miss them. There is trying to take the heat of your players and then there is directly vilifying players and moaning about 'what transfers you didn't get' All of the above should be done behind closed doors and not in a open forum, you saw the way Conte went on last season, it was stupid. I'm loving what I am seeing with Mourinho right now, even better they have to go to Burnley at the weekend Unionjack
