HD3D 1,038
11 mistakes? Strange, I counted 12. Removing our most lethal players and the ones with the most chances of punishing the opposition in order to take away any fear or hesitation that they would have to face, especially while attacking would count as a mistake in my book.Actually, "removing our most lethal players and the ones with the most chances of punishing the opposition" is a line up mistake. So that would count as part of the 11 mistakes Mourinho said he made. Smartass.
Heisenberg 1,824
Cant believe he is back.Sometimes, many times I remember saying back in 2011 when we finished empty hands and Carlo sacked "The three wishes every CFC fan would like to happen is to win the CL, Lampard as the best scorer and José back' and it happened, a truly dream happened and i'm proud to always believed we could achieve those things. The_Flash 1,144
It does feel sometimes like a dream, I watch him the press conference and can't believe he is back, it's wonderful. He is the Daddy of Chelsea.
CHOULO19 24,332
What's the manager of the month curse? There's a myth in England in the PL and even Championship and League One, that the team whose manager wins the MOTM award goes on a bad streak after that. So that's why Crespo was sold! Fernando 6,585
Okay now I'm getting a bit worried. We keep starting half ass the first half. It's like we should not even watch the first half. And then second half in trouble and have to go all gung go. kellzfresh and Henrique
Mouri_Matic 560
Mou if maybe you could teach the team to play attacking football that would be great. We are not gonna fucking play Bayern every week so why the fuck should we try counter attacking football all the time.We have been shit against almost every team that set out to pack the bus this season yuvala

And agreed our shit fullbacks and mid didn't help either
Barbara 15,149
well this is the team that played Schalked midweek sans Mikel and Schürrle...Hazard had a good assist (I won't comment on the penalty they robbed WBA with), so I won't say Eden was a detractor (although not a contributor apart from the assist either) and Lamps was decent. So why does the team play their socks in one match and just walk the park the next? How much this is Mourinho's fault and how much those guys are playing like shit? I can't say.I don't see a problem with our lineup today. I would have played Mata instead of Oscar from start, but if anything Oscar played better than Mata did imo, so that would have accounted for nothing.I see more problem with the players having crappy moments (Ivanovic, midfielders (except Willian imo, who was decent), Cahill and today even Terry!) and I see them not being focused and determined enough.Mourinho has to do something about it, but I don't think team selection is the problem here, neither is the system. I guess we have a collective brainfart. I don't want to give any credit to the november shit, but the change from the team that played ManCity and Arsenal to the last two EPL games is palpable. The players that were working, the system that was working two weeks ago, look like shit now. darrus

Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted November 9, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted November 9, 2013 One must wonder, why is there no pattern in our attacking play? We honestly can't regularly play counter attacking football because 90% of the time we will face teams that sit deep with a low block. Mourinho must find a formula for the attack that works and that brings the best out of the likes of Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Willian, KDB, Eto'o, Torres etc. Mouri_Matic, Stingray, Rmpr and 3 others
bababoom 4,478
It's been clear for the last few years we need a midfielder. Right now likes of Hazard and Oscar have to come all the way back to just get a touch of the ball, we need a player who can control games. In January we need someone like Witsel, but for now Mikel - Ramires should be in the Pivot. Mata could have done something against their bus, like he has been doing for Chelsea the past 2 seasons. Edit: Quoted skipper by mistake. Yes, we definitely need someone in the likes of Witsel or Gundoghan, but we shouldnt try to do crazy things in January!Mourinho is definitely struggling to get the best out of everyone and communication is starting to be a problem...The best thing we can do is learn as much as we can and try to win the most games possible before the end of the season. Then, we carefully prepare for next year with intelligent signings at the right price, with a good pre-season and the right system for it!We shouldnt pay the inflated prices of January for someone who will need time to adapt. yuvala and bababoom
