Curious, how do you know?

And this makes me ask, is Benitez a French speaker?

There is a french tv called BEINSport, a very new channel owned by PSG's owner, and when they do an interview with José after the match José speaks French, not English.

Here is an old interview, a fantastic one with the two José's.

Did you know that Rafael Benitez also speaks French ! But very basic one i'd say.

Italian too.

Mourinho's a very smart guy.

Can't beat Cech though (assuming if he can only speak those 5 languages). Cech can speak Czech, English, French, German, Slovak, Spanish, and Italian. Can also speak basic Russian, Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian apparently.

Jose ain't that special. :P

I can see this turning into the: players that already knew Jose thinking they are entitled. Thankfully only lampard and Essien are the only trouble guys. Everyone else, like Cole and Chec are regular starters.

What makes you think those two would even be an issue? Both of those players are smart enough to realize that they are never going to be first team starters anymore and Mourinho is also intelligent enough to see that. He's not exactly one to let sentiments get the better of him. He will know how to manage and use the both of them and Essien didn't exactly cause any trouble at Madrid despite being a squad player, did he?

I chose those two because they are the only ones that aren't regulars anymore. We saw Lampard's behavior under AV. And Essien has been calling Jose daddy, I wouldn't enjoy being in a lockerroom where that happens.

It's highly unlikely that Lampard will ever go against Mourinho. As I said, the latter will know how to manage and use him (and Essien). He might be at fault for the AVB scenario but AVB didn't exactly help himself with his poor man management. And also, Lampard didn't play as much as he would probably have liked last season but he didn't seem to have any problem with Benitez, did he? Think Lampard has come to a point where he knows he won't be playing week in week out anymore. His contribution will still be important, both on and off the pitch, but certainly won't be playing every game anymore.

And Essien has been calling Jose daddy, I wouldn't enjoy being in a lockerroom where that happens.

As much as it's probably annoying to hear Essien keep on calling Jose 'daddy', it's just a relationship and nothing more. People are just being paranoid and have that nostalgic thinking Mourinho will just come back and revert everything back to the old days under him.
