The only place to be 11,313
I will point to what you said in a previous postSo how the hell are we supposed to move on if he leaves if you basically said that Chelsea is epitomized by Jose. Do we have some mysterious person who we can replace him that is us if he leaves? Since you seem to insist that we need a manager that is somehow "us".And you like to make out I just prattle things that are not "worthwhile observations"Honestly, I don't know where we go if this doesn't work out. But let's not forget that things already got to the point where we hired Rafa Benitez.Once again you've ducked a very simple question - who did you want us to appoint? didierforever 7,349
I prefer Klopp because he builds teams that are always competitive. Not like Jose who I have always seen as someone who builds short term teams that once he leaves, are difficult to manage with players who think they should run the club themselves which meas that the team stagnates in some seasons as nothing gets done. You might say that we still won some trophies (even if we only have won one PL sine he has left), but Inter are prime examples on how badly it can go.I have already said this, its you who does not seem capable to read them.one PL, 3 FA cups, 1 CL and 1 EL so we have won a LOT since he left. dont BS... i have a first hand experience of chelsea so i dont wanna look at INTER. plus now as some1 elsea pointed out, he has seen all and done all, no where left for him to go, so i am not going to be bothered on the 1st DAY OF HIS APPOINTMENT of when he's gonna leave us. thats just a stupid argument to make considering he is the longest serving manager in the roman era, so condiering that stat i will always prefer him over any1 else. you have only 2 arguments - ego and longevity. as i have said before longevity should not even be an argument because he is the longest serving manager under roman era. EGO is a very viable argument but there was simply no one who had even half the credentials of MOU that was available right now. i just found this argument against what jose does when he leaves so as the guy above said, GIVE IT A REST Pep left, Bayern 7:0 Barca, Pep is garbage, and Bayern takes him. LOL, give it a rest mate. Ryan Fong, The only place to be and The Skipper

Klopp? Not available. I was all for us getting Pep, but he went elsewhere. The fact is that we've appointed the best available manager and he just so happens to be a Chelsea legend. You're asking what will happen in the future and the simple fact is we don't know. Yes there are concerns over the youth integration and the players he'll sign but until he names his first squad it's hard to guess what we'll see.You really need to pace yourselves because you could have four years of Jose and you'll tire yourself out the way you're going. didierforever

Milan 17,959
In the Champions League group stage back in November between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, Jose Mourinho used a new method to give out instructions to one of his players. He was trying to tell Mesut Özil to play higher up the pitch, but couldn’t reach him. However, he got a chance when Marcel Schmelzer got close to take a throw in. Mourinho went up to him and told him what to tell Özil and Marcel did exactly that. As he delivered the message to Özil, the Real Madrid playmaker seemed confused but looked back at Mourinho and saw confirmation. Can't wait for that to happen should he be knocked out of a competition, not embarrassing in the slightest .And who says that if he leaves it will be like last time that we will still be competitive despite the big egos making it difficult? Longevity is important because if you have no long term plan and the present goes all to shit, you can be really screwed. Mourinho does not care about Chelsea in the future ass long as he can get a few quick trophies to help mend his broken ego after a couple of years of not being the media darling in Spain. nono 791
First major test of Mourinho is to revamp the midfield imo. I hope he doesn't go and start Lampard and Mikel together.

Because I have seen his pass record and worry about when he leaves, since clubs go into difficulty once it happens. To me he wants to come to Chelsea simply because many people in this country are lemmings and will follow to his very word before he buggers of to find another club after falling out with the board again, not giving a fuck about our long term future. DO I KNOW THE FUTURE ... NNNNNOOOO... at present AND WE HAVE HAD THIS DEBATE MANY TIMES, who was the best option. JOSE MOURINHO. if u like klopp so much then support BVB. who's stoopping you? if MOU does not care about CHELSEA then so doesnt JT, LAMPS, CECH... edit- just saw your reply to @only place to be. i know u r gonna get your big guns out again which are WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HE LEAVES. To be honest with you, I'm not sure what the point of supporting the club is if you can't enjoy days like this. He clearly has great affection for this club - you might call us naive for believing that but it's really not that unusual to have great affection for a particular employer. He fit this club so well. The simple fact is that you're bitching and moaning but can't come up with a single decent alternative. You talk about 'debates' but you're hamstringing yourself before you start. Tiwaz, Strike and didierforever
