The Mourinho Thread

Although his surname is not hard to pronounce, we should start calling Lewandowski by his name, Bobby. His nickname in his early days was "Bobek" so it's similar.

May I suggest a bit better ?

Lewand.

Mourinho coming back to Chelsea has gotten my attention.

However, am I the only one that feels that sometimes a second comeback is not the best?

I hope he can come back and do good. It will be an awesome story.

Now there is one thing that continues to bother me. And that is that Chelsea today are totally different then the Chelsea Mourinho used to have.

Back then Chelsea was a very strong, aggressive and psychical side.

Drogba, Maka, Essien, Ballack, younger Terry and Lampard.

Today our team is made of small players like Barcelona.

Which as we saw last night can easily get bullied.

Heck that is what City now does to Chelsea. Yaya completely owns all of Chelsea midfield because of their weakness.

So how will Mourinho work with this team this time around?

Cause Chelsea cannot go out a buy a whole new team.

Interesting time for Chelsea coming ahead.

So, what do you have to say about SAF? Isn't that a perfect example aswell?

Ferguson is a freak one off, every time we sack a manager his name is constantly brought up to take a dig at us which pisses me off.

Because Fergie proved succesful with time doesn't mean we have to give time to any Tom, Dick or Harry god knows how long on the off chance they might do the same.

Those who think Chelsea will be a stable club in the future should look elsewhere.

Chelsea are & most likely will bring controversy upon themselves.

Stability at Chelsea, does anyone even know what this word means at Stamford ?

Therefore, Jose fits right in at the Bridge.

Why on earth does the be all and end all of stability depend on how long a manager sits in the dugout?

In the last decade we have had stability in abundance. A strong, powerful spine full of leaders and a dedicated owner. Do you think Liverpool had stability under Rafa? Maybe in the manager yes but Hicks and Gillett around trying to fuck them up is not stability in the slightest.

Another question, how many captains have United and Arsenal has since we appointed JT in 2004?

Arsenal may have a long term manager, but do they have stability on the pitch? They win fuck all, they chance their captain almost every season, have no real leaders and numerous problems in the boardroom, can they even name their owner/majority share holder whatever it is?

Is that stability? really?

We need some fucking stability. Roman needs to realize this. We cannot keep sacking manager like this. Fuck sake at this rate we will have had every top manager sacked within 5 years. What then?

Mourinho is the best long-term solution for us. The fans love him. The team loves him. And it is a mutual feeling. Plus he is a fucking genious.

Just give Jose what he wants, what is the problem? How can one not trust him more than some Yes-sayers in costumes?

Fuck stability. If you have me the choice of stability or the 10 major trophies we've won, is take the trophies thanks.

Look at arsenal. They have 'stability' but haven't won anything in 7 or 8 years

Chelsea is a freak one off aswell, sacking so many managers (some of them with enormous quality) and yet winning trophies.

But if you take a look at our league campaign in the past two years it proves we need somebody to build a team and stay here for as long as possible.

Actually we are not a freak one off, since Roman's takeover Inter and Real are both 1 ahead of us in terms of managers (i think, im too tired to check the actual facts right now, but their numbers are similar).

All of our sacking apart from Jose and debatably Carlo were right, of course i would love a manager to stay with us for a while, but there's a difference between managerial stability and managerial stability for the sake of it.
