He has already fallen out with Casillas and some of the other players too and they are 16 points behind Barcelona in the league. For Real Madrid that's embarrassing and they need to make some kind of statement of intent soon. They have a presidential election coming up in the near future and Florentino Perez needs to do something to get the fans behind him and sacking Mourinho would show them he still has balls to do what needs to be done. Everyone knows Mourinho is among the best managers in the world but sometimes things just don't work out and for RM it's easier to change the manager than change half the players, including their club captain Iker Casillas.
