Blue Armour 4,439
The board have screwed him over by taking away the cheque book this summer. After winning the title they probably had their eye on the next coach and his ideas rather than give Jose any more investment, it makes a managerial transition easier when the squad isn't entirely his own. Then why would they even renew his contract? But yes, for some reason they do look like screwing him over in terms of transfers. I remember before pre-season started this year, when Mourinho was asked how the squad would shape up over the summer, and he said, just a little more 'freshness'. I remember he specifically mentioned 2 areas were they could add players: 'Midfield, Defense'. Fast forward 2 months later, and he comes out saying Chelsea don't need more. It seems that way, and he doesnt have an answer besides being blind and authoritarian. The JT thing will haunt us, watch my words. You do not want internal struggles like we have now. We won the league because it was us against the world. Now we won it, Mou will make us fight internally. That is why he is a three year coach. In/out group psychology - it makes amazing results and dramatic falls. I called it two years ago. Sigh. The reality might have been for Mourinho to use youth. You know the youth he said he wanted to use when he first got here? The rlc he was hyping up last season? nono 791
The board should save the money to give to the next manager after Mourinho is fired so that he can rebuild the squad. Any money to Mourinho will be wasted because he can't get the squad to play decent football anyways. The squad needs to be revamped and at least 4 players should be out, i.e. Ivanovic, Cahill,Ramires and Willian. We need a right winger, a central midfielder and a centre back. Last season I said we will know early on if Mourinho is going to change his ways but we know now that he will not. The Rising Sun
Popular Post! Fernando 6,585 Posted August 16, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted August 16, 2015 People are calling for his head after two games?Wow you guys are truly amazing. Pellegrini did not win nothing last season, a season coming from winning the double just like us and hes still there. What's wrong if the same thing happens to us? Give the man a breathing room like Pelle and Wenger gets. Now I don't agree he should be here for a decade if he can't bring any youth after his third or 4th season. But surely he should not be sack so soon. It's dumb and won't bring anything good. I think 5 years is a sweet spot. Because in 5 years you can build a good project and assess everything. So the man should be here at least that amount. After that it should be about the goal the club wants. Do they want to build a team with more players from the youth set up? Or forget about that and continue with the same model? kellzfresh, bababoom, yuvala and 2 others

Fernando 6,585
I dont see wenger or Pellegrini at war with the rest of footballWell that's true, that is one thing to consider and what I will put in my list of not wanting an emulation of Ferguson with him at our club. Let's face it Mourinho will never be a man for a decade or so at a club. He's way of handling things is not proper. It's good for short term and it's fine because in a 5 year deal you can get a lot done. DYC.
Blue Armour 4,439
Boring, turgid, clueless and uninspiring football. Now, no longer can be excused as winning football, as if it ever could.Lack of trust in youth team players despite the owner spending millions in youth team. Apparently, Mourinho needs only 10 minutes to know if they're any good.Bizarre and irrational behaviour, undermining the club in public. The latest being the doctor-gate, which is still ongoing.Same tactics in the big games, regardless of it these tactics work or not.A sharp increase in negativity towards the club, because of the manager's antics. And not just by rival fans too. Clear favouritism towards certain players, regardless of their performance. No progress whatsoever in our style of play. If anything, many of our players have declined technically. Just look at Fabregas in the last 7 months.Blaming everyone but himself for his failures. Apparently, "3-0 is a fake result". Maybe he was watching a different game. 7-1 was a fair score-line. Team in decline even from last season. I called it back then, but apparently, I was a "fake fan" and a "Mourinho hater"Manager's coaching philosophy does not fit the New Chelsea. That's very obvious. We're supposed to be a big club, but we don't play like one.The board not making a serious attempt to sign players in the transfer window. Make of it all, as you wish. You guys already know my views on Mourinho and how he is not a long term solution for us and never was. Then who would you have us our 'long term solution'? Sorry, I'm not disregarding your other points, but I just can't understand why this is brought up frequently. I'm not sure how much Mourinho had to do with shaping our squad at the start of this season, but I really doubt that any other name could get a much better result against City's starting 11 today with the team we had out today. You might argue a few others might have us playing a bit more fluid, but on a 'results' basis I don't think there would have been any improvement. The only real thing that frustrates me, is that despite finishing top of the table last season, and making player sales last season, we're being so frugal in terms of transfers,,..while City are spending like there is no tomorrow. And this is right after, they were found to be in danger of breaching FFP.
