Rafa Benitez would also like to sign Chelsea winger Kenedy on a permanent basis, Sky Sports News understands, but knows he faces competition from clubs across Europe.

If hes used as a winger would they accept a buy back clause?

I hope so we can't afford another Salah or KDB fuck up

If we hold onto every youngster out of fear he's the next KDB then that will damage us much much more than what losing him did.

For 1 KDB there's 10 Schurle's, 20 Kakuta's, 50 Bamford's and 100 Mancienne's.

Fair point mate could you picture kenedy turning into cracking player this forum would go into melt down lol 2bh no Chelsea manager as played him in his correct position that's LW that's probably why he did well at Newcastle under Rafa

RB Leipzig want to sign Chelsea winger Kenedy if they are forced into selling Arsenal-target Emil Forsberg, according to Bild.

Leipzig expect to pay up to €20m (£17.5m) to bring the Brazilian to the Bundesliga, although the 22-year-old is also a target of PSG and Bayern Munich.

Had high hopes for him with us but we just used him in the wrong position.Hes a winger straight up.  But had a great season last year. Lets hope this isn't another Salah!

I hope we have sold him to Rafa with some sort of buyback clause cause I think hes got it in him to be very good.

Looks authentically pleasing but lacks decision making and end product, he's basically the player some people have been brainwashed into believing Hazard is.
Zappacosta & potentially Willian are goners. We can't be letting go of someone that could do a adequate job, unless there is buy back clause.

Ive always thought he was out his depth for us in any circumstances bar attacking from left back.

We signed him as a WF and Mourinho worked his magic by turning him into something he isn't. It should be of no surprise that he actually looked better than all our attacking players bar Hazard.

I'm yet to see us link with another winger, so he should be given a chance as it stands.

Kenedy at left back was the one thing Jose got right in that unprecedented mess of a season, he has potential in that position (atleast going forward), as a winger he's rubbish.

He was a massive liability as a defender (defending is a prerequisite) against decent opposition. The club as a whole should stop trying to put square pegs in round holes to cut costs, etc.

He didn't look "rubbish" during his spell at Newcastle. I don't want to hear about the standard difference either.

Why not? It's valid.

And he may have been rubbish as a defender, but the point is his attacking play from fullback is the only part of his game that could pass off as a serious strong point.

Our options are dire, that's why.
