P.S., were you sat front row, next to a brown-haired girl also in the new home shirt?

Exactly, my missus :D it's actually my own other new home shirt. She got to wear my Hazard shirt and I wore my Fabregas shirt to piss off the Gooner fans

C'mon, Match of the Day 3 Mark Chapman, where is the Chelsea pundit on your show? Old ManU [Neville], Old Ars [Keown], old QPR, WHU, MC &c anything but Chel [sinclair.] WE GET THE USUAL ONE-SIDED DRIVVEL. This is just ridiculous - they just about managed to admit that Jose M did OK by NOT responding in like to the crazy-psycho physical assault by Wenger....somehow it's OK to physically assault a fellow manager if he's a Chel Manager. Rubbish, rubbish, more rubbish. NO IT'S NOT OK TO ATTACK A FELLOW MANAGER.......AND PHYSICAL ASSULTS IN PUBLIC CANNOT BE CONDONED. The only thing a Chel Manager can do APPARENTLY is accept this treatment APPARENTLY. What if Jose M had rushed over to Ars W's tech area and shoved him violently...Oh THAT WOULD BE DIFFERENT. Jose M would be in BIG trouble, bringing the game into disrepute etc... etc. but it's OK if Ars W does it as long as Jose M accepts it meekly!!!! WE WANT CHELSEA REPRESENTATION ON MATCH OF THE DAY. Then the old nonsense is dragged up about the specialist in failure, forgetting that Arse W attempted to undermine Jose M & his team by stating that they had a fear of failure. IT WAS A FAIR RESPONSE IN CONTEXT. IF YOU WANT TO MESS WITH JOSE M YOU MUST EXPECT A REALISITIC RESPONSE. But ARSE W FOUND THAT HE MADE A big mistake AND CANNOT DEAL WITH IT. He should take a reality check, and decide what he can deal with, and what he should leave well alone. Clearly he cannot deal with Jose M and would be wise to know when he is beaten.

Yeah, we played well and the performance was very effective and efficient, but I'd say we didn't even get out of 2nd gear against these, and we didn't need to either. Arsenal are just light work.

PS, this is not criticism at all - I'm just saying that that wasn't the best from us, we still have another level to go to. We can definitely play better IMO. On another day, if we wanted to, and if everything clicked, we could've decimated Arsenal by a few more goals.

Isn't that what English humor is about? I found it hilarious

Hmm I guess. But the guy's over-riding feelings (it seemed to me from reading it) were that Arsenal and Wenger had done nothing wrong and that the shove (which is classed as assault in a court of law btw), the smoke bombs and flares being let off and Welbeck's challenge were all blown out of proportion and there was nothing wrong with any of them and Chelsea fans were exaggerating them all.

I dont know what it is about supporters of teams that play in red, but it seems the first mandatory requisite is to look like a fucking freak. Lots about yesterday

Pretty sure when they lost 6-0 they interviewed the most random est/thick fans they could find...

Still bizzare to read Graham Polls comments..we should've had 1 sent off but them 3..not expected

Poll was always a tart, trying to be best mates with the famous prem stars when refereeing, now hes resorting to 'outrageous' punditry in a sad attempt to still be noticed. Probably.

Having watched highlights a few times, how on earth did Martin Atkinson not send Welbeck off for that two-footed challenge on Fabregas is beyond me!

Same reason Cahill stayed on, think he tried to keep 11 men at all cost.

Welbeck's challenge was more of blatant red card than Cahill's. The latter went in hard with his tackle yes but neither of his studs or even boots made contact with Sanchez, unlike Welbeck's.
