I suppose £32m for us.. and for a transfer of this calibre in general won't back fire 'too' much if he turns out to be a flop. Anything over £40m and he'd be on a constant tight rope..

His wages will still be massive (seen £185k a week being quoted) so overall he will only be a little cheaper than Torres and we will be fucked if he turns out a flop.

But yeah, on paper £32m will still look 'better' than £50m and hopefully it will mean less pressure on the lad.

Wow what a great 5 days I'm having ;)

Been in Monaco since Thursday watching the Historic Grand Prix - amazing place!

Chelsea won

Liverpool lost the title

Hamilton won!

I flew from Monaco to Nice airport in a helicopter this morning

We signed a Striker!

I think tomorrow I also get my promotion announced officially -

2014 a great year, May = the best month ever ;)

I've had some bad months and years lately (few suicides and deaths) - so really appreciating the upwards trend ;)

Hope you guys are also having a great May, if not, keep going IT WILL come good - I promise :)

I still have plenty of doubts over this guy, but I swallow my pride and back him up if it's true he is coming to Chelsea.

Also, 32mi pounds for a top striker in today's market isnt a bad deal!

Kezman, Crespo, Boulahrouz, Sidwell, Di Santo.. I think we should just retire number 9.

Crespo WASNT a flop, the rest were but Crespo wasn't (ill always bite when i see that).

We payed 26 million Euros for him, he scored 25 goals in 71 matches and left for free. He was not as bad as the other number nines in the Abramovich-era but he wasn't a good signing at all. His goal against Arsenal in unforgettable though.

Yeah, lead story on Sky Sports but it still came from their 'sources'...

Its taken a huge chance to announce it like that and be incorrect. its not like there hasn't been serious smoke, most people who watch a moderate amount of football would say the same thing so there is no reason for them to report it.
