Diego Costa

'In their seventh league match, Celta played Xerez at home and were dominating the match. Costa got his first goal in Spanish league football, diving into the six-yard box to finish with 15 minutes left. He raised his hands to the sky in a gesture that spoke as much of sheer relief as any religious devotion. But his celebration did not end there. His Celta team-mate Jesús Perera described it: “I remember he went to the corner and started fooling around with the ball, prancing about like a bull fighter.”

The Xerez players were quick to react and Costa, never one to back down from a confrontation, responded by laughing at them. All hell broke loose.'

PROPER CHELS

His new biography reveals that Mourinho convinced him to turn down Liverpool and wait for Chelsea’s move a year later. (there were a lot of reports about Livrerpool-Costa before 2013-2014).

So why did Roman/Board wait a year to overbid liverpool for him?

Torres just scored over 20 goals, probably earning himself one last season. Also we already spent around 50m on Willian and Schurrle so due to FFP we couldn't spend another 30-40m on Costa.

another bit from the book

when Costa was on loan at Spanish side Albacete in 2008, the 26-year-old had a run in with a neighbour over the volume of his pornography. Vicente Ferre de la Rosa, an administrator at the club, on the complaints from one of Costa’s neighbours: “On one occasion they [Costa and friends] had a porn movie blaring out and the poor woman came down to tell them to turn the volume down. ‘What’s the matter? Don’t you like making love?’ a wide-eyed Costa asked her sweetly.”

great lad

I'll ask again as nobody has answered but WTF didn't he have the op like it was reported he was going to as soon as the season finished.?

He shoulda been on that operating table on the monday morning after Sunderland.

Unless of course as I'm sure like Sh0n3x we all hope that its just a little ruse dreamed up by Mou but we are going to be in the shite if that soddin hammy has packed up already.

He was relatively unknown then and because he is so damn ugly he would of struggled to get sex/pussy. As soon as he made it big time, he didn't need to watch porn anymore, as sex came easy to him. You get it now why article says he 'used to watch porn'? :D

People treat surgery as if it was simple. There's a reason professional athletes delay surgeries as much as they can. Surgery is something some players have never recovered completely from. It's not your knee surgery, it's something completely different and it affects the confidence, the body and many times the player is never the same after it.

I do really agree with you Barbara but how is it helping the lad OR US him being constantly limping over to the bench. That must do his confidence the world of good.

With the medical team we have behind us I would have thought if he had all the summer to recuperate from an op he woud come back feeling fighting fit.

Instead the break hes had hasn't SEEMED to have helped him at all. (We are still HOPING its a Mou trick pray_zps48ce3ppc.gif )

I trust our medical department more than any other in the world. We have the very best, by a fair lead. If they didn't opt for surgery yet is because they believe it's not the best answer - at least not yet. I back any decision they make.

It's wrong on so many levels, but I can't stop looking at it.

I'd tap Diescar, but Oscarego is an abomination.
