Pacquiao 1,834
and Costa has ONE goal playing for Brazil and Spainand Lukaku has 50 PL goals playing for crap teams like West Brom and Evertonscoring for crap teams doesnt mean you can score for top teams, Lukaku is so ineffective when he has no space, that is what he will have to deal with if he ever gets to play for a top team again! Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted November 22, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted November 22, 2015 I'm not surprised by the underaprecciation of Costa, even Hazard and Courtois Dont get the credit they deserve on here (while a wankfest goes on in the threads of their national team mates who use to play for us) Yes he missed some glorious chances today, but he still scored the winner but many times Ronaldo has missed chance after chance before slotting home, no I'm not saying Costa is on his level anyone suggesting that is insane just saying people gettig their knickers in a twist on him missing chances in a game he scored the winner is ridicolous. As soon as we hit form, his goals will come. robsblubot, stroey, Barbara and 4 others

That was not even an assist as Fab just kicked the ball forward towards two players - it was a nice ball, but hardly a throughball. Costa is not a top Striker, but neither is he a quack. He's a good striker who, along the rest of the team, was in terrible form. As their fitness levels rise, they will be playing at their norm. ZanSnake 1,211
Just by watching MOTD highlights, it seemed if he went for the bottom right more likely throughout the game then he could have scored sooner. As with Matic, as professional footballers they should be able to nip the ball in the best areas to score, not the easiest which can also be most likely saved. 1chelsea 864
My thoughts on this guy is his attitude which is costing the team draw or a lost, why kick the ball into the net why wait for somebody to pull or push you down when you in front of goal. It difficult see him change his game because he had all its takes to be the best striker in the premier League but no he takes the option of coursing trouble for himself and the team. didierforever

He waits to be fouled instead of shooting fast. Costa also hates near post runs which willian provides so many crosses that need a tap into the net. He stays deep like he's lazy to run to the near post for the finish, even pedro was screaming to him to run forward at some point. zolayes, King11Didier and didierforever

A "good striker" but that's it. He has his abilities but some of his deficiencies like hold up play, link up play, aerial play make him notches below being a top striker. We need a player who can push costa to concentrate on scoring again. Someone like lacazatte. robsblubot

I mean everyone here knows that lukaku has the similar deficiencies as costa but even he produces some brilliant moments. While accessing their game as a whole, hold up and link up play has to be said to be a massive deficiency zolayes
Muzchap 8,966
I'm not sure what's up with him - it's probably too early to judge He looked like scoring every game for the first half of last season, a bit like Harry Kane - both have suffered this season. We know his hamstring is made of jelly He's definitely better when he plays off the shoulder of the defender, but we haven't seen that for a while... I would prefer him to go get his operation and bring in a new striker to pair up with Remy. Falcao is not that man. didierforever, zolayes and Fulham Broadway

His movement and willingness to make any kind of run has really gone down. That's not a under appreciation, that's calling out facts. Yeah, on song Costa is a fantastic striker, but the amount of chances that went away yesterday because our undisputed CF can't be bothered to make a near post run was awful. We should've killed off Norwhich long before Costa scored. didierforever, bethos1, zolayes and 2 others
Kieran. 6,317
if you say so. feed Costa and he will score. Simple. once he is fully confident and back in form he will start to make it look easy as well.Yeah because he scores a shit-load when he's hanging out by the corner flag... Special Juan 28,141
Resting on last seasons laurels like some still.
