Jdb2005 12
Am new to this forum and here's my opinion. Strikers are there to score goals and at this moment in time Costa has 8. Ahead of any other striker in a top European league. Is he te most technically gifted striker no, is he the best in the world at the moment for scoring goals Yes.To have rvp in the poll list quite bamboozling as he's not hit the heights he did a few seasons back and I doubt he will again even and lvg.Zlatan for a centre forward when on top form is almost unplayable and I'd have loved to have seen him lead our line.KTBFFH
DazLaughlan 55
Costa really is an effective fit in team set up like us. Incredible work without the ball and when the chance falls he is absolutely lethal. I don't think there's many better than him.
Vytis33 1,272
No he's not the best striker in the world. But I'm damn happy he's wearing a Chelsea shirt!
Rom2013 446
Suarez by far. What this guy did last season was incredible and maybe, the most impresive season of a ST since brazilian Ronaldo.

RoyalBlues 4,050
From Chelsea website :'My reaction to the news that hes in the Spanish squad is to have no reaction because its something I could already imagine,' Mourinho said. 'Its not a surprise for me.'Can he play three matches in a week? I think its too much, but hes going to do that. And why is he going to do that? Because Im not going to save him to be in perfect condition for the national team.'This week we have three very important matches. The Champions League match was crucial for us after a bad result at home. We needed that victory away so I had to go with everything and everybody. It is an important match against Arsenal, and being the last one in that busy period for the club, he plays.'He had the match in Lisbon, he will have had these four days in between, and so he will be in an okay condition. What happens in the days after that [with his national team] is not my responsibility.'Basically he is pissed, but with the way he deal with it, reminds me again why I love Jose. kellzfresh and ZanSnake
ZanSnake 1,211
Costa due to the nature of his instinctive nature to score, plus his hard work off-the ball, which even though i have watched through YouTube video his eagerness to score a goal through any formal - spectacle or not. After all, it is goal-scoring that makes a striker good or bad. And, atm, Costa is making good on the money we spent!
MrBlueGuy 1,552
32m=bargain, even if he just scores 10 more goals for the rest of the season it would have been worth it. I mean the likes of Cavani, Suarez...etc are costing 50m+ yet this guy at about half the price of his actual value is fucking amazing. kellzfresh 7,229
Even when he didnt score yet. I could see the runs he was making. It was only a matter of time before fabrepass spotted one of the runs. He's a leader Bluelsthecolour
manpe 10,861
What a finish. That was a perfect move all around starting from us winning the ball, Fabregas making the splendid pass and Costa finishing it off in cold fashion. I have a feeling goals like that will become classics over the years, just like Lampard-Drogba ones.
DYC. 7,542
Made Koscielny and Mertesacker look like a couple of school boys for his goal. That was enough for me. Styles
Daniel1980 1,425
What a composed finish. Really didn't expect him to be so consistently good for us. Only Ronaldo scored more goals in Europe than him. BlueLion.

calculatingInfinity 1,472
Even when he isn't having much success with anything, as was the case for long periods of the match today, he keeps fucking going without hanging his head down and works hard as fuck for it. It usually ends up paying off. What a change from Torres. kellzfresh
