Players who started their career at very young age burn out later on in their career I think fabregas is going the same way has Rooney and Owen did I think it's time to sell fabregas

I feel his style of play slows us down and sends us in the wrong direction. 

Those balls over the top are great at times, but it seems as if our whole team plays to that. I'm watching City, Tottenham and Liverpool break teams down to a certain extent with quick, short, sharp passes, and then we are in our own little unique group. I wouldn't call it hoof ball, but it is certainly similar. Instead of passing the ball around the 18 yard box, we pass it around much deeper than most good teams, then Fabs sits on the outside and tries to pin point passes from 30 or 40 yards instead of 10 yard balls over the top. 

We have all these quick players like Morata, Hazard, Pedro, Willian, Musonda, Kante, Baka, etc, but we don't feel like a quick team. I honestly think a large part of it is this almost necessity to play through Fabs when he is on the field. I said it in the game thread recently, but watching the likes of Eriksen makes you kinda wish we had what Tottenham has in that role. Won't even mention KDB because that is long gone.

Tbh we did it to devastating effect last season. This season teams are closing us down much better and we can't enjoy the freedom around the box we did last season. That, plus the fact we seem more static and laborious in our movement.

I disagree. His playstyle is not a problem His problem is the fact that he cannot run as midfielder and that is a massive problem.

In order to play quick short passes, everyone, and I mean everyone has to be comfortable on the ball. That include your cb even your gk. I am not sure Baka is that comfortable playing that way yet, the same can be said for Gary Cahill.

We actually play similar to spurs 343. If you are talking about eriksen role, Hazard is playing that role for our team. He is the chief creator and he has the license to roam around. Hazard just play it differently because he is a different player.

All spurs defenders are ball playing, their wingbacks are fast, can dribble, can cross their midfielders have energy to run and are okay in passing, their striker is the best in hold up play in Europe right now. On top of that, did you see how they press? Tottenham don't sit back like us, but press their opponents. Thats why they look fluid in 3-4-3 while we look gassed out.

Just watched his pre-United interview, he said: "Last year we were more or less in the same position [same point difference to leaders Man City] and we ended up 15 points ahead of the City at the end. Anything can happen."

It's ok to say that in front of camera to show hope and spirit, but I really hope our players are more aware of situation and that 2nd or 3rd place in EPL would be massive for us too. I don't think they are, actually, I think they too think - "OMG, we are champions, what the hell is happening with us?" Well, Leicester too were champions...

It helps when there's Kante around. Not sure if a midfield of say Drinkwater-Bakayoko-Fabregas is better than Kante-Bakayoko-Fabregas.

We have been playing awful without him he's a big miss when he's not playing he was excellent today he's the engine to our team it's like having a Porsche With no engine when Kante not in the starting line up

He played a lot better last night, but I still feel we need someone more dynamic in that role. Someone quicker, stronger, and who has the ability to take his man on. 

Willian has been absolutely useless on the wing, and I don't think his passing is quite good enough, but he has always done better in that central role for me. Maybe give him a shot at playing that more advanced role like Cesc plays.

Wanna renew Fabregas's mentality? Make him vice-captain; give him a reason to lead by example. When all players are playing well, he certainly leads more than others. And players gain confidence when they see Fabregas playing, well or not. He's a big figure, nevermind our best interview giver too.

Not a bad idea, but he’s declining. Wouldn’t you want someone else who’s still learning to be a leader (but has potential to be) to be groomed by someone like Azpi? We don’t really have that many leaders in the squad atm.
