Fernando 6,695
I will say one thing that has been on my mind. If we are going to be bringing players back and forth from Strasbourg then it makes sense to get the manager from there come here as it will build continuity. For example with Liam the one who immediately gets to benefit is Santos. I'm still mad at the Maresca sacking, but if they keep this model of players coming and going from Stasbourg then it makes sence this appointment and any future appointment from Strausbourg. Vesper 30,793 Posted Friday at 07:58 Share Posted Friday at 07:58 Hazard told Como coach Fabregas to return to Chelsea: ‘The time has come’ https://football-italia.net/hazard-told-fabregas-return-Chelsea-time-come/ Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard admits he told his former Chelsea teammate Cesc Fabregas that ‘the time has come’ for him to return to Stamford Bridge, while Ju ventus striker Kenan Yildiz would suit Real Madrid. Ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid star Hazard spent the last few days in Italy, where he presented the wines he produces under the label ‘Wine of the Champions’, a brand created by Italian entrepreneur Fabio Cordella. During his interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Hazard spoke about his former Chelsea teammate Fabregas, now the Como coach, revealing that he hopes to see the Spaniard in charge of the Blues soon. Hazard: Fabregas ‘destined to become one of the best coaches’ “I’ll be honest, in the summer we talked a bit. I told him he was one of the best midfielders in history and that he’s destined to become one of the best coaches as well,” Hazard said. “I explained to him that the time has come for him to return to Chelsea, and he joked about it, but I really believe it. He loves football and knows everything about this spot. I’m a Chelsea fan, and I want the best for the club. That’s why I dream of seeing Cesc on their bench, while I’ll be staying in the stands behind him, enjoying the show.” Fabregas is in his second Serie A season at Como, and the Azzurri are flying in 2025-26, sitting sixth in the standings, just four points below a Champions League spot. Juventus star Kenan Yildiz has also caught Hazard’s attention as the ex-winger believes the 20-year-old Turkey international is destined to play for Real Madrid one day. “My children are crazy about Yildiz. They want lots of his videos and hope to see him in the Premier League,” he said. “As for me, he seems more like a Real Madrid-type player.” Blue Armour

Special Juan 28,575 Posted Friday at 12:50 Share Posted Friday at 12:50 Wouldn't this Yildez fella command a big 80-90M+ fee? Not a chance we are doing them sort of prices anytime soon- We paid £48M for Gittens and £40M for Garnacho, the club see much more value in buying two middle of the road players now as opposed to one insanely talented player. There are players who justify a 80m fee and there are players who don't justify even 40m. Enzo/Caicedo are good examples. Yildiz would be worth the gamble imo Edited Friday at 15:15 by Strike kexik, Vesper and TheHulk 2

Yildiz would be worth the gamble imo Thing is we need to stop taking players who could be worth a gamble & get the guys who are going to do it though. Because thats the next step. We have all these younger players who are in that category of maybe they will turn into good acquisitions, maybe they wont. Was the same mentality around Gittens & Garnacho last summer, they were considered worth a gamble - why I don’t know, particularly Gittens. I am glad everyone’s come to their senses and seen how bad the Gittens signing is. Was always going to be the case given 1) how limited his skillset is & 2) the huge contrasts in playing styles between us and BVB. Before Gittens & Garnacho, it was Joao Felix. Before Joao Felix, it was Jackson, Angelo & Ugochuwku. Before them, Mudryk, Madueke & Datro Fofana. This worth a gamble approach is a crock of shite. Yildiz another young guy who ok, maybe he is quite talented yes. But he has broken out in one of the worst Juventus sides in the past 10 years. A scarecrow would look semi decent playing in an attacking position for them. This project 2030 or whatever shit they had in mind is going to slip to project 2040 if we keep chopping & changing going for the next could be great, as opposed to adding some great players to supplement what we’ve already got. Only way the owners are going to realise this is when essentially the franchise players/signings - Palmer, Caicedo or Enzo Fernandez - want out. They will be the first 3 no doubt unless the mentality shifts. And I say franchise players because they are essentially the players BlueCo have signed that were the biggest money/biggest performers. Look at Liverpool's window. Everyone is a gamble even established players. I agree though. I'd have preferred to sign a winger in his prime. I was just saying that since the board are hell bent on signing youngsters, then players like Garnacho, Gittens are very risky bets as it was clear they were nowhere near coming in to challenge for a role in the first team. Since we are gambling on a younger player, I think Yildiz would have been a lot better
