Its sad to see my countrymen acting so poorly.

Turkey has both good and bad sides just as any other does, but you should honestly be aware of the high amount of uneducated people. It is probably nothing like yours. If you only wish to enjoy a good match and stay safe, don't mess with people, it really is not needed. They could be right about the hell!!11 at some point.

Bad stuff said, GS is an interesting team, probably the strongest gun around here, with nice support in Arena. I cant really predict a fulltime score since our play isnt quite stable. Three weeks ago we had a 6-0 victory over one of the Turkish League's OK teams(their defence tho.) which made us look promising. But 3 days ago we hardly managed to beat Besikta(3rd in league) which was not satisfying. Anyway, I am looking forward to enjoy a decent game tomorrow. Its also good to see a worldclass team and its players around here. You could see that from the airport meeting, haha.

The situation in Turkey is right now fucked up tbh. Because a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Erdoğan and his son about embezzling money was leaked some days ago.

Chelsea fans shouldn't have come to Istanbul anyway. The mood is hostile atm, and the people are on the streets. Bad timing.

Dude you gotta chill out and start using your brain a bit. From all of what has been written in the forum regarding the matter no one attacked the Turks, they only attacked the stupid behavior of some Turkish fans and that is something you shouldn't be bothered about. Nobody is attacking a country or a religion. I know how passionate football fans are in the Middle East, but you have to admit that the way they support their football teams is radical. It takes the beauty and sportsmanship out of the game. Such acts has gotten people killed for A GAME. Same applies in parts of Latin America and other European countries. You know yourself how it is in your own Turkish league. I don't care if it is politics, revolution or even patriotism. It is wrong and the word barbaric doesn't even describe how low this behavior is. I don't know how many are stabbed other than one that is a friend of a guy here on the forum. And you know as well as I do that the Police doesn't really have to confirm anything if a report is not filed. Chill out, it is a game where the players themselves who struggle, get physical, injured win and lose shake hands at the end and swap shirts. If they take it as a game, then fans should too.

Some very easy going Chelsea fans were just walking in the street, 100 Galatasaray fans suddenly came out of nowhere, stabbed them just for fun and ran away immediately? Ohh no.
