Mario Balotelli

The agent of Milan’s Mario Balotelli has refused to rule out the possibility of a transfer to Chelsea.

Mino Raiola recently stated that he didn’t expect his client to remain at SanSiro for the rest of his career and he’s now opened the door to a Chelsea future.

“Balotelli and [Chelsea boss] Jose Mourinho could be reunited because they know each other and they didn’t leave each other with hate,” Raiola told TikiTaka on Italia 1.

The two men worked together with success while they were on the books of Milan’s city rivals Inter.

“There was a not very nice incident between them, but they parted company on good terms,” Raiola added. “They have remained in contact and there is mutual respect.

“I know Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani will not agree, but Mario is a great striker. That is for certain and he could perhaps be that at Chelsea.”

Balotelli, 23, returned to Italy in January after a spell in England with Manchester City. He continues to make headlines on and off the pitch.

“I have other Milan players who I represent, but I don’t get questioned about them,” Raiola continued. “I just get asked about Mario and that irritates me.

“I never said to not judge the player or comment on his performances, but leave him in peace if he wears an earring, if he drives a certain car or wears a certain hat.

“I don’t see any other player in Italy who is gossiped about like Balotelli. Napoli’s Marek Hamsik has a crest hairstyle but nobody talks about him in such a way.”

In the second news, they even say that this will happen.

Brilliant player, zero brains.

There is no way in hell this transfer will ever take place. For starters, Balotelli has repeatedly shown he dislikes Mourinho. Secondly, they had trouble at Inter due to Balotelli's recklessness and lack of discipline.. Actually, now that I think about it, Balotelli has found trouble in every club he's been in because of his recklessness and lack of discipline.

I just can't see this happening. Fortunately for us.

I would love Balotelli here! i never really rated him highly when he was at City, but since he has been at Milan he looks a much better player! he is outstanding at holding the ball up, he can also score and create goals! i think he would be a great signing! Torres, Balotelli and Lukaku next season would be a quality strike-force to choose from.

Would love him. Forget his attitude player, he can sort that out, his talent is there for anyone to see.

As I said before I'd love a strikeforce of Balotelli, Lukaku & Torres next year.

I agree. If you forget his attitude then he's a great player.

If you forget Drogba's attitude or Terry's attitude, then they're much lesser players. It's why when you assess players then you have to take into account their character.

In Lukaku we have a young striker who is dedicated to one thing - football. Why we'd buy a player who is a few year's older but far more immature I don't know.

Because we aren't just going to need one striker...

Torres and Lukaku seem pencilled in right now (although it's a long way down the road) so that leaves one spot. We've got Eto'o and Ba as third choice, plus a couple of other youngsters.

In theory, on paper, he's a great player but there's baggage there and I'd rather give people with character the chance to play for this club when they've earned it.

Love Mario. Only way it would possibly happen would be if all 3 of Ba, Torres, and Eto'o were gone.

We know Eto'o and Ba will be gone in the summer, but I seriously doubt Torres will be moved. There's no way we'd be able to keep all 3 of Mario, Torres, and Lukaku happy.

It would be nice to see how he'd develop more under Jose again as well as seeing the City fans' reaction, but not happening.

Considering how much Jose preaches professionalism, I don't see any way he goes for Balotelli. Imo though I'd love Balotelli here, he would fit in no problem but he's a problem in the dressing room and I feel our dressing room atmosphere is amazing and I wouldn't want to disrupt that.

Would take Balotelli in a heartbeat. People talk about his attitude and immaturity but forget he's still only 23 years old. He has more than enough time to mature and if he does, the sky's the limit, and even if he doesn't he will still be one of the very best of this generation. He's got a lot of similarities to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who in my opinion is the best player in the world at the moment despite all his character flaws.

Balotelli also has experience of playing together with another striker and at Man City he even played out wide a lot so him coming wouldn't jeopardize Lukaku's chances at all. All teams need more than one striker and I think a strikeforce of Lukaku, Balotelli and possibly one of our current bunch would be nothing short of amazing.

Anyway, I don't see much chance of this move happening but one can never rule out anything when talking about Mino Raiola's clients. Who knows, maybe a double swoop for Balotelli and Pogba is on the cards next summer? :whistling:

Balotelli is a nutcase, don't compare him to Zlatan.

How could a bloke like him fit in with such pros and great men like Lamps, Mata, Ramires, Ivanovic... I just don' want it.
