Lukaku should keep doing what he's doing right now, keep his mouth shut and work hard

he shouldn't be anywhere near Chelsea though at the moment

because our strikers are scoring ,,, no no, wait,,, banging in goals for fun right??? tell me exactly how many goals have our strikers scored this season in 6 PL games?

try to give credit where credit is due. lukaku is playing GOOD football. he has been brilliant for everton. u would know that, if u had seen the newcastle game. he was phenomenal in the first half. brilliant link up play with with barkley and mirallas. simply killed newcastle with it. was brilliant in his hold-up play. and most importantly scored goals and took chances that came his way.

he covered brilliantly for mirallas a couple of times when mirallas left coleman stranded against goufran and cabaye, worked his socks off thru out the match.

to top it all off- he dint go on to insult chelsea in any way, did he? so dont get why the "keep his mouth shut" part is even there.

dont even get me started on where lukaku is or should be at the moment.

Norwich fan in peace here. Just wanted to give you a heads up on travel arrangements for the game on Sunday from our end for those that are coming up and driving. The A11 is going to be closed due to the roadworks that are on going so for those that are driving your going to want to go A12, A140. Hope this helps some of you guys out and good luck for the season I hope you can beat the manc teams to the title just without three points from us Sunday!

lukaku scored 17 goals with wba - but its just wba, so who cares.

lukaku has scored 3 goals in 2 matches, with one assist for everton, but that is useless too since its only everton

so tell me , lukaku-hater, what exactly should lukaku do to get into the chelsea team, while constantly being away from chelsea and being on loans? really waiting for your reply.

I LOVE Lukaku but he needs to further develop his game in order to play on a team competing for everything. He's not far away and probably could've played a part this year but like Courtois, if he's not ready to be the guy he's better off going to a place where he can play loads.

This. I hate how people believe he cannot hit it at us just because he scores at inferior teams and there is theory that he will struggle at us because teams defend deep. Look when Welbeck was loaned out to Sunderland 3 seasons ago. He done well in that season and only got 6 goals that season before he got injured but clearly done enough to convince Fergie to make him part of his plans the following season and he became an integral part of United's team, getting into double figures. I am sure teams defend deep against United right? Yet did that stop Welbeck from scoring? No. I hope he has another excellent season at Everton but he really should be here. Compare what Lukaku done at WBA and what Welbeck done at Sunderland. Lukaku scored much more and there would be no doubt once in his stride he would get goals here.

Ba scored 16 and he isn't good enough. Torres scored more than 20 with Liverpool and he is not good enough.

So yes, scoring 17 goals with WBA doesn't mean you are good enough to play for Chelsea.

Let's hope we can win, we need to be in the top of the league as soon as posible.

Are you referencing Welbeck to support a claim that Lukaku should play? yikes!

as much as i agree with what u WANT to say, the example u have given is not the most apt one. welbeck just sucks man... :)

He got into double figures the following season and while he has not scored much recently he is actually a good player. But what I am saying is our strikers are actually no better than Lukaku. Anyway he is not coming back for this season so will just have to support him on at Everton and hope our strikers hit form while he is on loan once again.

you are right our strikers aren't necessarily better than Lukaku, what they are is more experienced and have played at the highest level in the game. Lukaku is not going to be given the same opportunities to grow and make mistakes at Chelsea as he would at Everton. When he makes mistakes for us its costs us titles and perhaps champions league, at Everton there is less pressure to perform... He's in a good place people he'll come back to us better than ever after this spell.

I guess the main problem is that he still struggles a bit with teams that play deep and with too many players behind the ball. that doesn't happen against teams like Everton and much less West Brom... he works great as a target-man in a team where the opponents don't defend exhaustively. He'll keep improving though and I guess he'll come back to us improved because a few teams might park the bus against Everton at Goodison Park

how do u know??? he has played 3 games with us this season, all as subs.lets take a look, at what point he has played for us

2-0 against hull city, when hull city were actually looking better than us except for the first 15 minutes.

2-1 against villa, brought in to waste time and counter rather than break a defence that was playing deep.

2-1 against bayern munich with 10 men and barely even looking to attack.

if u making this statement on his pre-season performance, then he has 5 goals when we were trying to break down teams compared to i think 0 each from torres and ba.

so how r u and most of the people here, making that assumption is beyond me.

i know. lukaku had to go to a loan. it was a reply to the @etarod (or some1) who has been on lukaku's case for sometime now. even after lukaku's first goal for everton (the header), he took a cheap shot at him, saying, "some players are born to play for mid-table clubs". after his 2nd dig today. i simply could not control myself.

No offence, but Courtois is ready to play for any side in the world. The only thing that keeps him from Stamford Bridge is the legend called Cech.

As far as Lukaku is concerned, there's a reason why the majority of our fanbase and nearly all the pundits find it a ludicrous loan deal. Is he ready to lead the line for Chelsea? Not really..

Is he the best choice we have? Definately.

It's hardly nonsense, it's called logic.
