Duppy Conqueror 1,537
When he played for Vitesse if you watch some of his highlights he played like Ballack would for us.in particular when Lampard wasn't playing.the way Ballack would drive down the field and straight through the middle imposing his will and taking over the game. I know I mentioned this before somewhere on here about how he reminds me of Ballack but as the subject has been raised again I thought I would repeat it now. There is lots more to come from Marco and he shouldn't peak for another 6 or 7 years.gonna be fun watching him grow with us. Magic Lamps 11,692
He is a great athlete already that is why Jose brought him in. He is tall, quick, combative and stronger than he looks. He might not become the next Lampard when playing in the DP most of the time, but he can be our Yaya Toure (provided he gains 20kgs of muscle). Might not be the DLP we all hoped for but 8m for a 20 year old with his potential is a bargain. When he can play a decent semi-defensive role in the DP, he will be a valuable option for 10+ years. JordCFC 13
This player truly does excite me. Very composed on the ball, and can pick out a pass. As fellow CFC have probably already stated, I think he is the perfect cover for Frank Lampard when he is resting or retired.
Mustafa 885
Im really really liking this young fella... If he can perform how he did on Thursday for the rest of the season, he'll be one of the first names on our team sheet

All we need is for Frank to teach him the trick for the timing of those runs into the box..

Tomo 21,751
I dont think that is a trick that can be taught,Either you have it naturally or you dont. We need to stop this fantasy we are going to get another Frank, 20 goals a season from central midfield, no one is going to replicate that in our lifetime if ever, we should just be glad we had him instead of trying to fantasize over "potential" other version's. CHOULO19 24,332
I dont think that is a trick that can be taught,Either you have it naturally or you dont. It was more of a tongue in cheek comment meant to imply that we won't ever get a player like Frank.
bluesman2610 1,417
I really like this kid I feel he has all the tools to be very successful in EPL as long as he stays injury free... hes combative in the middle doesn't let players just run past him.. has decent pace and with a little more confidence we will see the passing range from U21 championships.. thumbs up to the board for this buy

We don't need a 20 goal player from the pivot when we've got Mata and Hazard in attacking mid already who should provide at least 30-40 goals combined. communicate, BlueLion., Tomo and 4 others

Popular Post! Fulham Broadway 17,315 Posted August 5, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted August 5, 2013 Seems to win tackles , nick the ball and break up play, impressive for a lad his size and age. Looks to be the complete midfielder with a bit of everything and could provide some great legs in midfield alongside Ramires. hes also not afraid to get stuck in -reminiscent of Ballack :blue scalf: Azpinator, Despiadado.Maleante, Duppy Conqueror and 3 others
sureshot 20
I realy like him and I like it how Chelsea bought him under "the radar". He has nice balance and a good passing game. He needs games and he'll be more confident in the other half of the pitch creating and taking chances I'm sure. Fulham Broadway
bushman 2,043
Marko is still too young & will get better. No one should expect him to score as Frank, but close to 10 goals just might be feasible, soon.
