iseah100 5,612
That world cup win did him wonders. Confidence is through the roof. He'll become a regular starter, Cesc+Schurrle will be amazing this year. Gilvorak and RoyalBlues
Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted August 18, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 18, 2014 I think Andre definitely deserves to start more. He gives a different dimension to us with his runs. When we have Cesc in the midfield, a player like Andre makes us more dangerous than Willian. As long as Oscar and Willian don't ever play together, we're fine.Schurrle is the same kind of player as Salah (although a total different caliber) and Oscar and Willian although quite different, offer the same end product. So we always need one between Schurrle and Salah and one between Oscar and Willian to have balance as we did today.Despite Oscar's underwhelming display, he didn't compromise and I think he even allowed Cesc to have more freedom, the same as André.I don't necessarily think André played better (or worse) today than in many other matches he played for us last year. But one thing made capital difference imo: today he had someone who saw his runs and passed to him. He'll look a much better player because of that when in reality it was never his fault nobody saw him and didn't pass to him when he ran. Actually, I think his movement wasn't even as good as in some other matches he made for us and still he was one of our best players imo.And I love how he loves our manager and how our manager loves him Chelsea?, BenIsLegend, kellzfresh and 9 others
Popular Post! Sheva. 5,373 Posted August 18, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 18, 2014 He's a real difference maker, doesn't matter against who, he will get in good positions and always a threat.Like having another striker on the pitch, who's comfortable on the wings. Jase 43,479
Took his goal well and that really showed why he should be play more often. Offers so much more attacking threat and gives others more passing options as well. And this post summed up Schurrle at the moment. Can just sense this is like a new Schurrle, one who is shining brightly and at the top of his confidence level. There's a new sense of confidence you can see in the lad. His runs are devastating when a ball is actually played to him. Took his goal very well. Dy-lan and C7S
Chelsea? 892
Good to have another goal scorer in the line up. Everyone else in our 4231 is a pass first type of guy except Costa DYC. and Sheva.

rohitmohanihm 39
i really wanted him to start today.. and i think he is perfect for us.. I think I can see him turn into our own version of Bale .... he was a constatnt threat with his pace and direct running and took his goal sweetly .. hope he can cement down that right berth
gary gordon 1,777
The thing I love about Schurrle is that he's a loyal, club success before personal success player. I'll never forget last year at the Bridge vs City, he was subbed very early after scoring and instead of having a sook, he sat on the bench and cheered the boys on. At full time he ran on the pitch and congratulated the team with massive enthusiasm. He could have easily been a wanker like Mata and throw a public hissy fit and walk into the sheds, but he didn't. He will go very far under José kc_blue, The only place to be, chillerz and 1 other
jeronimo 130
What a stunning team goal finished by him today. The entire buildup to the goal was executed perfectly, from Hazard's dribble, Ivanovic's cross, Fabregas' half volley through ball, to Schurrle's run and finish. Surely a contender for goal of the season already.
Popular Post! Joelasticot 111 Posted August 19, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 19, 2014 If you look closely at Andre's run for the goal, he starts very early and he just knows when to attack the space in front of him.I think that kind of play was rehearsed in training. If so, I mean if Andre is part of specific rehearsed complex plays, it means two things in my opinion :1 - Mou is really working hard on our attacking sequences.2 - Andre will be a starter in most games this season. Then again, I'm pumped and I could be wrong but it sure looks this way to me. Barbara, bababoom, kellzfresh and 2 others

He said that Chelsea is ready facing bus parking team this season. Fabregas is the brain and Schurrle is the man for finishing the job. As for Costa, i think he get a free role in the front line. To pull defenders, create havoc on penalty area and let his teammates like Schurrle exploit that space.
MrBlueGuy 1,552
Will be a beast of a player for us from now on if he doesn't jerk off aka attending Arsenal Xmas party, he is better than Willian technically and once he tracks back more he will have a permanent place in the team ahead of Willian or Oscar. chillerz

Toli 977
A thing he has to improve is, when getting the ball, to go more forward. most of the times he just stops and passes the ball backwards, reducing the tempo of our attack. off the ball he is unbelievable, but when he has the ball, there are still some thinkgs he can improve on. more 1 vs 1 and more vision instead of always passing the ball backwards. otherwise happy for his start and good game. kellzfresh, Madmax and DYC.
