I've been hoping that the home kit will grow on me ever since it came out. But nope, it's ugly and boring as hell. The Adidas guys were probably too busy designing Man United's kit so they didn't bother too much about ours.

If that's the case then if I were a United fan I'd want my money back; it's fucking minging.

I hated our home kit at first but now I love it, since buying it. IMO, our home kits under adidas, from best to worst:

I just think it'd be weird to go all the way into September without releasing the third kit, but maybe everything got pushed back because of the change of sponsor.

In 2011/12 we had the League Cup game where Turnbull got sent off and Cech came on and saved Baines' penalty. We wore white that night as well.

However you are quite right when you say we wore the black kit for the away league match there.

I don't know if it's still the case, but we certainly used to tend to unveil the 3rd kit (also known as 'European Away kit' by Chelsea/Adidas) on the day of the CL draw.

I dont mind black kits at all with a good design but I think the shiney material makes the shirts look cheap.

So no Chelsea kit for me this year. The design itself is not that bad, but the new sponsor's logo and name look so cheap and classless. Fly Emirates and Samsung used to fit way better on our kits. But hell, money is money.
