Rapkun 668
Yeah. They need him now more than ever so the chances of him leaving are pretty slim.

petre.ispirescu 4,928
i don't know if you've heard this before, but he has not renewed his contract with madrid yet. things are unclear for the moment and there is quite a hesitation from both xabi and madrid wheter to renew this contract or not - usually a club like real madrid is not waiting that much to renew an agreement and that made xabi having second thoughts and, apparently, thinking about a new experience. rumours or not, but spanish newspapers say ancelotti would be about the only one from the entire club who wants xabi to continue in madrid...for those who have not watched him this season, he has been in superb form so far, real madrid is a completely new team since he came back after that injury and i think now it's the time for jose to do his magic and bring a world class partner for ramires. I think if Xabi decides to stay, there wont be a big problem to renew his contract. Carlo is a big fan of him.
Rom2013 446
I think he will play for us. He is one of Mourinho boys in Real Madrid like Arbeloa, Khedira, and others.I think he agreed with Mourinho that he would come to Chelsea. Alonso (like other spanish players in MAdrid) is loved by the supportes, everyone in the club wants him to continue, I think he can't because he will play here next year. shellpick 13
it sounds like we are talking about a beautiful bubble here. no chance that xabi will come to chelsea at this stage. if he joins us, it would be a genius steal conducted by the club and i probably wake up laughing in the midnight. Alan Partridge 1,124
I'd love him here for a couple of seasons. I dunno why he would want to leave Madrid, unless they are going to replace him. I'm sure Torres would be glad to have his old mate back
Pizy 18,963
Anyone seen him play recently? I flipped to Madrid's match the other day and he was subbed off for Illaramendi I think. I haven't watched them in a while. Still top class?

I haven't watched them in a while. Still top class?Madrid is a whole new team since he has come back from his injury and he was in superb form since then, he is truly the Commanding General in that area of the field for Madrid. Still world class, no doubt about it and he has fully recovered from that surgery he suffered in the summer, but now he has to deal with another problem - he has picked up a knock in his ear during the game against Valencia last month and his eardrum was ruptured. Although everything seemed to be ok, he is now dealing with another problem as "he feels uncomfortable and his ear hurts everytime there is noise around him" (quote from Carlo). This is why he was substituted at half time against Celta de Vigo, because of the noise inside the stadium that he couldn't deal with. He is out for the next game and he will undergo further tests on that eardrum problem.
