The biasness and wankfest over Brentford were disgraceful and it was pretty clear from the start who they desperately wanted to win and it certainly wasn't the team in blue.I have become used to that with all channels. Everyone always roots for the underdog so talking about Brentford's bravery or whatever was to be expected. It's more condescending than anything. For a striker to score our midfield has to create chances for him.Its obvious that we wont see any through balls for striker.Today ba kept the defenders and created space for midfield and torres is also doing that(though he will go deep sometimes ).So one cannot blame strikers solely.Even when cavani or falcao comes they wont be able to score plenty of goals if this playing style prevails. We had our moments in the first-half and they had their's but once we got the breakthrough (no surprise it was Mata) it was easy going.Didn't think the Luiz thing was that bad at first but on reflection he catches him plum on the chin. Now it wasn't nice, but it looked to me like he was just trying to bodycheck him rather than knock him out. manpe 10,861 Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 The score would have been 5 or 6 if Torres had played, IMO, because the attack would have been better organised in the first half and Brentford would have had to devote two players to handle him, thereby making space for Mata and Oscar, and Torres would probably have scored. But it was better that he was rested for next week. Demba was the "victim" of a team with players who don't play well with a lone striker. Therefore it is ironic that the first goal was the result of such a direct move - lobbed from the back to the centre-foward and his deflection to Mata. I'd like to see us mix in a few more of these direct tactics especially against teams who play a double back four and turn up to defend.Lmao, I feel sorry for you for still having hope in the useless one. Pissed off about the draw, really wanted Millwall, when there was only a few left i really hoped for it to happen. I'm not sure this Chelsea team under the fat cunt can really win at Old Trafford but wouldn't it be so great to get Millwall at Wembley? Police on alert lol. 95 Final = Everton vs Man Utd07 Semi = Chelsea vs Blackburn09 semi = Everton vs Man Utd09 Final = Chelsea vs Everton11 Semi = Man Utd vs Man CityAll possible again. Of course we still have to get past 'Boro at the Riverside but i'm pretty sure we will. Their current form is shocking. It would be just unbelievable if we were to win this cup again.
