Fernando Torres

As of right now the simple question is who is the bigger attacking threat?

The answer to that has to be sturridge..

You could say well he only had hazard behind him and we still haven't seen how he plays with moses, hazard and mata behind him... But danny looked lively.. He got the ball and kept hold of it whilst trying to create things. All i remember torres doing is losing the ball after hazard has taken it from the halfway line.

Bottom line we should just go with who is on form. Right now its Danny. Torres could make some big appearances from the bench and win his place back. Danny deserves a chance.

You can say Torres hasn't done anything, but as stupid as this sounds, if he never of won that corner in the CL Final, we wouldn't of won it.

Yes. He won a corner for us in the CL final so he pretty much won the whole thing for us!

If Ashley Cole hadn't made that clearance against Napoli....we wouldn't have won it.

If Cech hadn't made that penalty save against Messi....we wouldn't have won it.

I could list a hundred other examples. What a completely stupid argument.

Torres supporters will find any excuse in the world to defend him. It is ridiculously annoying. Just STFU already. If the best thing you can say about him was that he won a corner for us in a CL match then that says it all really. We paid 50m for him so that he could win corners for us that other players could score on. Just great.

Fuck off, without that corner we would be in the Europa league without Eden Hazard and, God forbid, Juan Mata. Deal with it.

I'm not a Torres supporter, I'm always going on about the bunch of idiots who follow him more than the club. But Torres done it in the big moment, Ashley Cole clearance, still could've came back, it was a glorious night. And Cech didn't save it against Messi, Messi hit the bar, so there's no arguement there.

Torres won that corner, so give him some respect rather than jumping on his back all the time and say he's done nothing. Because i would pay 50 million for that corner, and I'll tell you why, because i would pay for 50 million for a Champions League any day if i was rich. We had a few minutes left, i seriously doubt we would of came back, the corner was our last and final chance in that game, with about 3 minutes left so yeah.

Only on talk chelsea is the corner Torres won more important than the goal Drogba scored. Jesus fucking christ. Torres is just infallible. We should build a statue of him at the Bridge because we are all forever indebted to him for winning us the Champions League by winning that corner for us. All hail Torres who made the greatest play in Chelsea history by winning that corner. Because of that corner he's pretty much the most important player in Chelsea history. Crown Torres.

What an exaggerated post, tell me where one of us said it was more important than Drogba's goal?, you're doing nothing for your argument here besides looking like an idiot.

I'm so sorry. Please forgive me for forgetting how much more important Torres corner was than Drogba's goal, or Cech's penalty save, or Ramires' chip against Barca, or Cole's clearance against Napoli. I apologize. I'm an idiot. Torres singlehandedly won us the CL I don't know how I could have forgotten that.

Dude chill - we are all agreeing on the same thing...

Torres played his part as did the rest of the lads :)

Torres is inconsistent and my personal preference for him (as a person) is a swap deal with Atletico for Falcao...

Nobody is saying Torres is bigger than CFC, merely stating like every other CFC warrior that night, they deserve some credit :)

Credit where credits due - as they say! :)

Torres is goodluck even without goals..hehehehe I'd like to see torres and danny play in a 4-4-2 but obviously danny is too selfish. Danny will get more than enough chances I bet torres had to do same to break into athletico to bcome a star at 17. If torres isn't playing so well and we won the champions league and remain top of the league ill take it anyday over an assumed and untested prolific sturridge. As a chelsea fan I don't need no messi(torres in our case) scoring 80+ goals only to win copa del rey(carling cup in our case). Football is a team sport and yes this isn't play station and from what I know you don't get to b top of Epl just by Luck(except when sir Alex and refs. Combine for Manu) it shows something is in order at least. We jst have to wait and see its too early to b sacarstic.
