You can look at our transfer dealing as pre and post-Torres, where we went from spunking huge sums on players at the peak of their prices to looking for value and generally being amongst the most savvy operators in football.If he goes (a big if) it will genuinely feel like we've moved on from that period.If point out the Torres deal as the reason for our revolutionized transfer policy, it could have been a blessing in disguise. Since then we have not made a single bad deal IIRC. The ones that did not work out like Lukaku or De Bruyne we sold with a huge profit. God, I can't say how relieved I will be when Torres finally fucks off. Hope we will still do these Azpilicueta-type deals when we have his weight of our shoulders. Kinda funny looking back at them, however I feel people are even happier now that he is (likely) leaving SO.. FUCKING..
