If we are on form and have steadied that defence then bring their asses......of course they are dangerous but its doable imo. Its alot better than facing barca juve and psg thats for sure.

Oh and fuck them cuntish divers Valencia.

1st leg against Bayern confirmed to be on Feb 25 (Tue). So, it'll be after Spurs...

United at home could be moved to a week later due to the PL mini winter break. Schedule TBA.

Yeah exactly. If people watched the game back and looked at the way we conceded our goal then theyd maybe stop mentioning that miss. People miss penalties shit happens, if we didnt concede so stupidly in the first place from a freekick IIRC then it wouldnt have mattered hugely. But hey everyone needs a scapegoat. The other match v Valencia and the 4-4 draw with Ajax also contributed hugely to our draw. But again Ross Barkley all to blame because we got Bayern and not Atalanta.....

Its more that people don't know exactly what would have happened if he scored.

Had we had that point in the bag we may have been more cautious in Amsterdam and settled for a point instead of going for three, we may have conceded again straight away.

Lampard's tactical fuck up in the Mestailla is a lot more of a reason we finished 2nd then Ross's penalty miss.

Atalanta vs. Valencia

what a FUCKING JOKE

and no, it is not just on Barkley alone, Lamps bears the blame as well, plus many other players

arguably the worst overall round of 16 match-up in ages

that said

I would LOVE to upset Bayern (it can be done)

and draw those Valencian cunts in the quarters (if they go through, Atalanta can take them out)

We must also thank Ajax for imploding at the Bridge.

Its a tough tie.

They have the winter break coming up which gives them the chance to rest and whatever too. Not sure how much of a difference it will make but them having the possibility for guys like Lewandowski, Muller, Kimmich, Gnabry, Thiago, Coutinho etc to take the foot off the gas a bit before going for it again, it could help them in the run up of fixtures before. Where as we will have a lot of guys playing a lot of minutes in the next few weeks and that can always bring niggling injuries that can get worse too.

Although us being at home for the first leg is always a positive but only if we can keep a clean sheet. I fancy them to score in Germany for definite, since changing manager theyve had some good results and the likes of Lewandowski, Coutinho, Gnabry, even Muller have been steadily performing and doing well. Plus I really really rate Goretzka, a guy with real ability and energy in midfield.

As much as Atalanta would have been the easier tie, it's arguably better to be knocked out by Bayern than Atalanta.

yup, with the way we fuck up games, at least we can get knocked out by a proper team.

Always going to be a hard draw regardless but that's the whole point of the Champions League - to challenge yourself against the best on offer.

When things click for Bayern they look devastating but they also haven't been firing on all cylinders this season and have been caught flat a couple of times. The winter break will allow them to be fresh but will it leave them under-cooked?

It's far more important for us at present to arrest our drop in form. If we're in good nick though come February we could pose them a few problems ourselves.

Yes, I wanted Bayern or Leipzig to face us. Bayern is a good draw. They have a lot of defensive problems like us, so it will be pretty even from the defensive point of view. Both defences are shit.
Offensive wise , Lewandowski is a Killer, but he is also not a big game Player. Lets hope he bottles it like he usually does in big games
