Muzchap 8,966 Posted October 23, 2012 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Lessons learned:1) Start with full concentration2) we do have some younger experienced guys, this was a good game to put behind them3) changing team unsettled something and injury didn't help to lamps.4) they have some amazing brazilians and a great team and work ethic, hard to beat.Could have been worse 5 or 6 from them if not for Cech...NOW WE NEED TO BOUNCE BACK at the weekend... We were poor. Only bright side is Juventus drew and we lost 2-1. The return fixture against Shakhtar is an absolute MUST win now. A 1-0 win would be enough to send us top of the group. Anything else and it will be a disaster especially when we have go to Juventus on Matchday 5. Poor performances have to be pointed out however, regardless of that is - either the players or the referee. A red card should have been given and fouls were being awarded for nothing the most notable ones being the 3v1 situation and the last minute of the game. If we're to beat Shakhtar at home then we'll be level on points with them, Juve will probably be one behind us with a home win against Nord. Shak will then beat Nord away from home, leaving Chelsea and Juventus to battle out for the runners-up if the last game of the group, a draw being needed for Chelsea. Last season anyone? Chelsea v. I watched Donezk a couple of times; they are well organised, strong on the ball and have got shitloads of brazilian whizzkids.I think we´ve been fairly beaten by them. Didn´t have much to offer after the early strike.I was never one of the Anti-Torres-Propagandists, but he was awful, even for his standarts.
