didierforever 7,349
another away game... wtf!!!... that too if we get southampton, that would be a real hard match. i would have taken the mancs at home rather than southampton away right now. the mancs are so far behind and have so much ground to make up in the PL that none of the managers would even have had the balls to risk playing their A-teams. and our B-team is definitely better in quality than either's.on the other hand, southampton will play their first team, and it would be interesting to see us cope against there fast, high pressing game.i just hope we win against schalke, top the CL group, so that our B-team can get some playing time. bushman 2,043
If Jose decides to win it, he will field the best & Chelsea´s best should do the job.No matter who is the opposition. Chelsea is winning now & will be lifting trophies, soon.
kellzfresh 7,229
Southampton and their high pressure tactics would give us serious problems. I would hate playing against teams that apply high pressure (athletico, dortmund, bayern,)Lets hope we meet sunderland instead
Liquidator 5,176
Not really bothered whether we are home or away, it's just the luck of the draw. Between 2005-2009 we seemed to be at home for just about every FA cup game BlueLion.
LeonDavis23 371
why are they the only teams playing next week?Incidentally, we're also playing Southampton(H) and Sunderland(A) in the Premier League in December. So, we'll face either one TWICE in the space of 2 weeks. And the Sunderland v Southampton tie in the 4th round will take place next Wednesday at 7.45pm UK time.i haven't looked that far ahead so are the PL games before or after this LC game, it would be nice to have a look at them before the PL game
Jase 43,479
why are they the only teams playing next week? That's because originally, Sunderland v Southampton was scheduled to play last night but because Newcastle are also playing (Man City) at the same time, they postponed the former fixture to next week instead due to safety concerns raised by the police as obviously, Sunderland and Newcastle are from the same area.. Jase 43,479
I ABSOLUTELY hate the fact that we got another away match which is our third in this competition. Meanwhile some teams like Spuds are getting only home matches. The FA needs to find a way to guarantee a balance between the home and away fixtures for every team in the tournament and the same regulation should be applied for the FA cup as well..Can understand where you are coming but would you be complaining if we have been getting home matches for the previous rounds instead? I doubt it.And besides, this! Not really bothered whether we are home or away, it's just the luck of the draw. Between 2005-2009 we seemed to be at home for just about every FA cup game

Kojo 4,676
Would much rather play Sunderland, but Southampton we should beat to, Southampton aren't invincible and if anything they are probably concentrating in the league.
