Weckerz 3,781
come on lets be sensible, in truth he is a squad player at bestI agree, his couple of good performances don't weigh up against the atrocious displays he has shown. He's an alright squad player though, his speed can cause some damage against certain defences, so in that sence I'm glad he's at Chelsea. He should be used more as an impact sub, I think his speed would do well against tired full backs. He shouldn't be a starter though, Chelsea need to think bigger if they want to compete yuvala and GhanaBoy

Dont think he needs to be a starter.Precisely. And he will only improve playing with good players, and with age comes maturity also. People need to think back to when we were a truly brilliant side, between 2004-2008. Did we have world class players on the bench? In part, yes, but we also had good, versatile squad players like Diarra, Tiago, Smertin, Gudjohnsen, etc., who all did an excellent job for the team without doing anything spectacular. yuvala
Henrique 9,133
Moses represents the english football today. I can't believe England cant produce better players than Moses, Marin, Mikel or Azipilicueta. Chelsea is investing in young talents but I really dont know why they think those guys are any special, I really dont know if theres is any young english talent on the verge of making the first team. The team should buy foreign special players like Hazard, Cech, Luiz, Ramires, Mata. This was the worst transfer window ever.

Styles 9,790
Why was he not in the squad to face swansea? Not sure maybe small injury or fatigue? Played 90 last Thursday so not surprised he wasn't involved. Will most likely be back on Thursday. Mufassir08

Popular Post! BlueLion. 21,491 Posted May 3, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted May 3, 2013 Absolutely. I think because Moses isn't as "spectacular" as the Three Amigos, people automatically think he is shit. But if you take the amount we signed him for and compare it to his credible performances, you can only agree it was a prudent investment. He is a young man with the potential to be a handy squad player for us in a variety of positions. He also scores a lot of goals - ten goals in your debut season playing out wide and starting only 25 matches is a very impressive feat in my opinion. 11Drogba, Tomo, Bir_CFC and 4 others

Our problem this season has been we don't have enough dependable squad players like Moses. If Marin could offer us what Moses did we'd be in a much better position to rest Mata/Hazard/Oscar more. Our squad is weak not because we don't have enough special players (we do) but because we don't have enough squad players like Moses. Mufassir08 2,400
The best thing about him is that he is just as good on the left wing as he is on the right wing.Brilliant player!
Strike 7,489
Needs to get his crossing sorted. Would add a great weapon to his wing-play. His dribbling and ability to past his man in a 1 v 1 scenario is good but he's still lacking the final ball. Great squad player! Jype 6,398
What did Moses do today after replacing the best player on the pitch? That's right, absolutely fuck all.Shows what we are lacking at the moment when our squad is fully fit but still we don't have any better players to take on for the crucial moments than Moses or Benayoun. I've said it before and will say it again, Moses is not good enough to play every match at a club like Chelsea. A decent squad player to start against the weaker sides and occasionally take part in the more important games but not good enough start half the games and then come on to play 30 minutes in the rest of them. The team needs one more winger who doesn't look out of place when playing with the likes of Mata and Hazard, then Moses can play the squad role he was always supposed to.
